I have to say I got excited about the idea of the plain shirt for this season, but was a little disapointed when I was it...however I have bought it and it has grown on me. I first became a fan around 91/92 ish and that's made that kit seem iconic to me even most will view it as just another kit from a nondescript era. Other than that, the 97 and 2000 kits will hold special memories because of the success we had wearing them, and this season's is just lovely but the best ever? Step forward the Ind Coope pinstripe shirt. I would kill for one.
irDeano Posted 5 October 2009 Posted 5 October 2009 I've always loved the old walkers crisps shirts, mainly 98-00 so for me that'd have to be my favourite. I have to say I did love the topps tiles one from last season but far from my favourite ever.

I still associate that shirt with the rather less pleasing experience of losing to Swindon in the 93 play-off final.

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the replica versions of this shirt didn't have the sponsor on (this was the first kit to be sponsored) - see picture of Tom Kasabian wearing the away version.

Was already wearing a Leicester shirt and got lured into buying another one simply because they knew that Izzet played for Leicester at the time . I think my one had the crisp on the Walkers bit though. Can't remember.

Could be match worn , who knows ?
