Gené and Tonic Posted 27 June 2005 Posted 27 June 2005 How about Kris Boyd for Kilmarnock. Scored a fair few last season.
the_picajew Posted 28 June 2005 Posted 28 June 2005 I think if leciester are looking for a decent midfielder, i think they should consider kemi izzet from colchester, he is young, got great ball control and would'nt cost much to buy!!

Little Nicky Posted 30 June 2005 Posted 30 June 2005 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ity/4635385.stm Anybody else notice the pictural mistake there? But it has got me thinking that we could have a go at signing him, if Ipwsich think they could lure him there, surely we could get him, he's only 31 and still has a few good years in him yet, anyway just a thought!
Muz Posted 30 June 2005 Posted 30 June 2005 David Unsworth's purported move from Portsmouth to Ipswich is reportedly in danger of collapsing over the player's wage demands. The former Everton stopper spent part of last season on loan at Portman Road and Ipswich had hoped to make the switch permanent. Unsworth has been informed that he has no future at Fratton Park and the 31-year-old had seemed set to link up again with Joe Royle - who he also worked under at Everton. However, Ipswich are reluctant to match his current pay packet and Portsmouth have ruled out allowing him to go out on loan again as they are not willing to pay part of his wages. Whilst a move for Unsworth stalls, Ipswich could be successful in their attempts to land Shaka Hislop as they look for a replacement for Kelvin Davies. Like Unsworth, Hislop, 36-years-old, was told by new Pompey chief Alain Perrin that his future lay elsewhere and the experienced goalkeeper has admitted that Ipswich have made an approach. ''Ipswich have made a very interesting offer,'' conceded Hislop. http://skysports.planetfootball.com/list.a...el=championship Intresting , i think that he is deffo worth a go like Delboy said he has a few more years in him yet.

alf Posted 30 June 2005 Posted 30 June 2005 Funny that you mention Malcolm Christie. There was a rumour circling my work place yesterday that he had been seen at EMI Airport. I suppose he falls into the "young and hungry" category of players Levein has said he is looking for. Had some bad injuries over the past couple of years though and also played for the sheep sh*ggers! Got to be a better option than Sidebe though!!!!!

Still got a house/family in the East Midlands? Not a top-notch rumour, really. Having said that, I'd sign him if he's fit and promises not to break any more legs.
Ric Flair Posted 30 June 2005 Posted 30 June 2005 Wouldn't touch him with yours! He's a typical player who had one or two decent seasons and then has done **** all ever since except get injured. Teams fall in to the same old trap time and time again with players like him. We've already got enough of them like Lee Morris. These type of players are more of a gamble than signing an unproven player from the lower leagues, atleast the unproven players have a point to prove and chances are they are on form unlike players like Christie who's confidence will be shot to pieces and they'll demand £5k a week. If we sign him, i'll be distraught.

Seeing as it said the deal with Ipswich was collapsing because of his wage demands.
PRIOR09 Posted 30 June 2005 Posted 30 June 2005 Did Ricardo Fuller play under CL in Scotland? If so does anyone think there is a chance of him signing as he would be a superb player!!!!!! PLEASE CRAIG, BUY FULLER! WE HATE FOREST!!
casabian Posted 30 June 2005 Posted 30 June 2005 Pompey signed Fuller on a play as u play basis because he had 2 have 2 medicals as he failed first due 2 dodegy knee, he played well at preston but has not impressed me in the prem , we dont want another sick note like lee morris.

Steven Posted 2 July 2005 Posted 2 July 2005 Leicester City will sign Scott Severin for a nominal fee with Peter Canero going the other way. Matt Heath will leave for Hull. Also Craig Levein is in deep discussions with Kris Boyd over a possible 200k move to the Walkers A very dodgy Internet rumour. B)
