QPR Post-match bring and buy sale

First real chance to post anything relating to the game, having spent moments here and there reading the thread over the course of the day.

What a night. Might sound a bit gay but I felt so emotional after the game simply because of the effort shown by every single member of LCFC last night, including the fans.

From the first second we harried, pressed and pounded Q.P.R. into surrendering the ball more times than they probably have done all season, and that can't be attributed to any single player, but to the whole team and their management.

Waghorn and Fryatt ran themselves into the ground and led from the front. Oakley and Wellens won so much ball in midfield and King's careful, calm and considered approach complimented them so well.

N'Guessan may have been a surprise inclusion, but yet again NP delivers a truly sensational (yet bizzare) team selection, and although Gallagher may have considered himself unlucky to be named on the bench, he could have no complaints as Dany ran Ramage ragged and delivered several beautiful crosses that may have resulted in 3 City goals rather than just the one.

Brown was a wall and despite pre-match anxieties about him facing Simpson and co. he never once let us down. Same goes for Hobbs.

Neilson is a changed man for what I can see. Two top performances in the space of 4 days justifying his recall to the side with some conviction. And Bruno Berner is just a hero. Must be the Chrissy P effect.

Talking about Chrissy P, his penalty at the end of the warm-up and the resulting celebration was iconic. Words cannot describe what a legend he is in my eyes.

Anyway, Chris Weale. Stupendous double save where he got injured and he showed courage to carry on. Brilliant signing, and is starting to become my favourite City goalkeeper in my life time.

Obviously Q.P.R. are probably one of the top 3 passing sides outside of the Premiership (West Brom, Newcastle?) but at times we made them look very ordinary, and thoroughly throroughly deserved our win.

Fair play to Magilton for recognizing that and some of the comments from Rangers fans is a joy to behold.

Thank you City, you were worth every penny and more last night. Very, very proud. :)

Loved that. Good read. ;)

Oh absoluetly, wouldn't have been the same in the upper, no way.

Keep watching the goal back and last 20 mins with LD3 in the yellow tshirt and then spotting myself easily, including the mayhem after the goal. Oh and clapping Fryatt off.

We spotted LD3 and the 2 lads next to him watching the game again earlier so guessing one of them was you lol

LD3 wearing a bright yellow tee-shirt on the front row..... absolute media whore ;)

First chance to comment here. Great performance from absolutely everybody involved I thought, a much deserved victory. I think we shocked QPR with the way we went at them, it certainly pleasantly surprised me. Some of the football we played at times was a joy to watch, and the front two thrived on it. I think the Fryatt-Waghorn partnership could go far given the right circumstances.

I don't think Pearson's team selection was bizarre at all, in fact I think it was pretty much exactly the same as the team I posted in the thread I'd like to have seen. N'Guessan showed just why he's currently the best winger we have at the club, and I hope he gets his chance in the coming weeks. I like the guy.

Good performance, brilliant result. Onto the next game, which will undoubtedly be our toughest encounter of the season yet for me.

Got to say, what a quality day, both the day out in London and the game itself.

Proper ground, proper fans, standing up, good atmosphere, great peformance, and a great train journey home, involving "freebies" from the buffet bar!

Bring on WBA!

Anyone else noticed how QPR's programme seems to be just one big ad for Sky Sports? lol

What was the Star Wars music about before kick-off?

Our end was brilliant and also looks fantastic on TV. Exactly what away support is about brilliant.

Watched the highlights last night. Seeing us going mental after the second was great.
