Guest Bilo Posted 29 November 2009 Posted 29 November 2009 The biggest game in club football takes place tonight in front of 98,000 at the Camp Nou and countless millions at home. We all know what happened last time these two sides met, with the Catalans running out 6-2 winners at the Bernabeu with one of the best performances I've ever witnessed. It's a very different Real team this time though with Ronaldo and Kaka coming in in the summer, with Kaka having a great season so far and Ronaldo surely champing at the bit to get on the scoresheet against the team that controlled him so humiliatingly in the Champions League final last year. Personally I still think Barca are the best side in Europe in spite of Real's chequebook bashing and will run out winners in front of their own fans. I'm going for 3-1 Barcelona with goals from Ibrahimovic, Messi and Iniesta for Barca and Kaka netting Real's consolation. Either way, the commentators in Spain will be as excited as ever.
Ford Super Sunday Posted 29 November 2009 Posted 29 November 2009 Very much looking forward to this, will be hopeful of a good quality stream to watch the match on... Better be as good as last season!
Anish Posted 29 November 2009 Posted 29 November 2009 Barca. Fell in love with them when I went to see them destory Real Zaragoza last month - so much so that I'm now a Barcelona member and will be trying to get tickets to el Clasico at the Bernabeu and next season!

How do you become a member? I'm going to Barcelona with the lady on February 6th, tentatively mentioned going to see them play Getafe and she agreed, amazingly. Have always wanted to see a Barca game and might not get a chance for ages after this.
StanSP Posted 29 November 2009 Posted 29 November 2009 If last year's game is anything to go by then we're in for a treat . What time is it on?? Have a feeling I'm gonna miss this too
Head Honcho Posted 29 November 2009 Posted 29 November 2009 How do you become a member? Have always wanted to see a Barca game and might not get a chance for ages after this. There are usually plenty of tickets going around. If you do a stadium tour on the way to the stadium you'll have touts offering you tickets even on non matchdays for forthcoming games. I doubt the Getafe game will sell out so good luck
Stuliasz Posted 29 November 2009 Posted 29 November 2009 Can't wait for this. Will be backing Barca all the way. Has Messi been declared fit? Tickets for Barca are incredibly easy to get. Me and a mate are going to Barca v Villarreal 2nd/3rd Jan. Their web site allows you to select individual seats, and also shows you the view from that block of seats. Your ticket is then just a PDF printout. Other clubs take note!

Just go on the Barca website and you can purchase tickets a month before the game. You needn't become a member. FYI becoming a member is ridiculously expensive - I paid €155 for a year's membership, which gives you priority for the games (i.e. you can buy tickets in September for every game in the forthcoming season, including Real Madrid, which is why they are sold out within hours), discount on ticket prices, discount on merchandise and a free tour. I've become a member just for next season's el Clasico and hopefully this season's Champions League latter stages.

lildave3 Posted 29 November 2009 Posted 29 November 2009 I've gone for Real, more hope than expectation though.
Fox You Forest Posted 29 November 2009 Posted 29 November 2009 Not really bothered either way, just hoping for plenty of goals and not a lot of good defending.
Budweiser Posted 29 November 2009 Posted 29 November 2009 I've gone for Real, more hope than expectation though. Same.
AjcW Posted 29 November 2009 Posted 29 November 2009 Definitely deserves its own thread well done bilo. Given Barcelona's recent league form im a little concerned, I dont think the game will be any were near as one sided as recent el classico. 3-2 Barca.
Darkzzz_ Posted 29 November 2009 Posted 29 November 2009 Been trying to get these tickets for 7 years now, always miss out. The closest I came was 2005 when I had the chance to buy one ticket for £600!! I think even if you don't like Barca, if you're in the city it's a must see, the place is amazing and it's the reason why we make it an annual trip. I hope to do the same when I go Madrid, would definitely go and watch a game even though I don't like Real. As for tonight, Barca aren't in top form at the moment, but Real haven't impressed me either, I have this one down for a draw.
lildave3 Posted 29 November 2009 Posted 29 November 2009 Fuming! Can't record or pause off of the red button and i'm off to 6 a side!

Ford Super Sunday Posted 29 November 2009 Posted 29 November 2009 have a look here I am using the Navip Russian stream, 1mbps. You need to download 'Sopcast' player if you haven't already, but it's brilliant, and it's the only player i use streams off. Fantastic full screen quality
Koke Posted 29 November 2009 Posted 29 November 2009 How can anyone want those fascists in white to win? That's just wrong. Nice goal by Ibrahimovic.
sdb Posted 29 November 2009 Posted 29 November 2009 How can anyone want those fascists in white to win? That's just wrong. Nice goal by Ibrahimovic. I was thinking that also
Samilktray Posted 29 November 2009 Posted 29 November 2009 Fascists in white. Who cares, its football not politics.
