davieG Posted 13 December 2009 Posted 13 December 2009 Yesterday I took a pink highlight pen to mark off those paying the Brick £ (where were you all?). Anyway got me thinking so what's weirdest most unusual thing you've taken to a match and why?
davieG Posted 13 December 2009 Author Posted 13 December 2009 AlexiKokopops. But why did you take him?
jonthefox Posted 13 December 2009 Posted 13 December 2009 i was so skint once i took a sarnie i`d made at home.
davieG Posted 13 December 2009 Author Posted 13 December 2009 Hope Reminds me of my favourite Leicester City related comment: “It's not the despair. I can cope with the despair. It's the hope.”
Pen 3 veteran Posted 13 December 2009 Posted 13 December 2009 Group of hairy fat blokes dressed in old ladies dresses and cardis bought in Oxfam shop in town at lunchtime before a game (and after 1 or 2 pints)
Fox92 Posted 13 December 2009 Posted 13 December 2009 i was so skint once i took a sarnie i`d made at home. We sometimes do that!
davieG Posted 13 December 2009 Author Posted 13 December 2009 i was so skint once i took a sarnie i`d made at home. That's not weird or unusual, a bit old fashioned but I still see a few doing it.
Captain... Posted 13 December 2009 Posted 13 December 2009 A Buzz Lightyear toy. I think it must have been the 95-96 season, and it happened to be in my jacket pocket when I went to a game, and we won convincingly I'm not sure how I came to this conclusion but over the course of a few games I decided it must be lucky, but it all depended on which pocket it was in and which half we were attacking. I could never remember which pocket related to which half, but if we were playing well I had to switch pockets at half time. If we were playing badly and losing then it meant it was in the wrong pocket and I would leave it in that pocket at half time so it would be in the correct pocket for the second half and we would recover and win. I forgot it one week and we lost I was gutted. I think I kept this up for most of the season I even took it to wembley with me and we all know what happened there. Now here you all were thinking it was Martin O'Neil that got us to the prem but actually it was a 13 year old kid with a Buzz Lightyear toy he had found. I think I still have it somewhere at my parents house.

I dont even know  Either that or a plastic figure of jesus, sort of like the story above
lavrentis Posted 13 December 2009 Posted 13 December 2009 An RAF meal ticket, but I've worn a suit to watch Leicester before. Thrilling it was.

I dont even know  Either that or a plastic figure of jesus, sort of like the story above Unfortunately I don't get to many matches these days, only about 4-5 a season depending on where I'm working. Next game I'm going to is Sheff United on Boxing Day so if I can find it, I will bring it, although I seem to remember it stopped being lucky after that season, maybe it just didn't work in the Prem.
The Doctor Posted 13 December 2009 Posted 13 December 2009 a very fluffy blue scarf. Although every time i've worn it we've won comfortably.
Father Ted Posted 13 December 2009 Posted 13 December 2009 My brother wore Cov socks once  Don't ask!!!
Shirley Crabtree Posted 13 December 2009 Posted 13 December 2009 In the pub before the game yesterday, my mate pulled 3 green hairnets out of his pocket. What else could we do but wear them for the rest of the day?!
