As for signing gilbert we have an out and out right back in nielson who is much better than him IMO and even morrison is better despite not actually being a right back.

Anything under £1m would be a storming bit of business, the improvment on Neilson is huge and if we insist on playing people such as oakley, Gallagher and Yann right midfield then Kerrea would keep the width and let them wonder. As someone who's played right back a good amount I can tell you that a big role is getting forward, Bruno does it well whereas Neilson is painful to watch once over the halfway line. Getting Gilbert in last season me me completely forget about James Chambers and Stearman he was that impressive, league 1 or not. He would defenatly improve the team.

But if Milan doesn't get his chequebook out and we sign this guy for 750k, we may not see another signing in January other than loan signings. A creative central midfielder and a centre back is needed more though. I hope NP brings Dj and Gradel back into the mix aswell for options.
