Nick Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 I think it's fair to say there will be offers for Fryatt and some of the fringe players. I think the majority of posters would take on the chin losing the 4-5 squad members / players on loan and possibly Howard if an offer came in. I think MM would be very tempted to sell Fryatt for 3.5 - 4.0 million. Of course it'll be put over to us as "the player wanted to go" spiel.... My issue is that if Fryatt were to be sold, It would serve the purpose of financial gain only and I suspect a very small proportion would be re-invested and strikers for 1.5 million or less of any comparable quality, I'm not sure exist. So I guess the question I'm asking is, 'does anybody think MM will authorise the sale of Fryatt in the next month or so?'
StanSP Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 He'll stay I reckon. Think he would prefer gaining promotion and being a part of it as opposed to a transfer. But did anyone vote for both ?
Leicfox Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 Reports saying Palace want 5 Mill for Moses ? Well if thats the case, Fryatt should be marked up at 7 Mill.
davieG Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 Not nervous, if goes he goes, no one is bigger than the team as whole and despite what people say no one is irreplaceable maybe not a direct replacement but someone, or two who offers something different that brings out the best in those that remain. As long as the team retain the same or a better level of performance. Of course if he stays that's not a problem either.
SMX11 Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 I don't think he will leave, he is in a comfort zone at Leicester currently and I think he wants stay for a long time. Obviously he wants to get in the prem but I think we will get Premiership football within 3 years (hopefully 1 ). He should be in his prime by then,
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 I think he'll still be here if it's his choice. He'd have jumped ship last season, or not signed a new contract last Crimbo otherwise, however I do worry that Mandaric might want to recoup his losses.
Samilktray Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 Reports saying Palace want 5 Mill for Moses ? Well if thats the case, Fryatt should be marked up at 7 Mill. Moses gets linked with Barcelona and Liverpool. Fryatt gets linked with Wigan and Wolves. Theres a reason they want 5mil for him.

Guest Bilo Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 MM should realise it's either £4 million or so for Fryatt or a chance at earning £60 million for promotion, Fryatt really is that important to our hopes this season. Let's hope he makes the right decision by the team, Pearson and the fans.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 I'm thinking of ringing the Football Forum up tonight, gunna call Milan out "Milan are you going to sell Fryatt?" 5 minutes later...
Ozwin Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 If Milan goes over Pearson's head and sells Fryatt then we'll lose more than just our top scorer.
Joe. Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 Yeah I can't see too many departures, it's hardly like we've got a huge squad is it? The only player I can see going is maybe Adams on loan somewhere perhaps.
Webbo Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 I'd be surprised if we didn't lose a few fringe players and get at least 1 in. Don't ask me who though.
lou Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 I do like how some people know whats in Milans head, and Pearsons head and certain players heads..... you dont, none of us do. Im not concerned, no point.
MPH Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 I am not so sure Fryatt will be here in January. But neither am i Nervous- Time and time again Pearson has come good in the transfer market and i will trust him to do the same IF Fryatt is sold. I think someone has mentioned this and i mentioned it at the time.... I thought Gallagher had been signed as a direct replacement for Fryatt. ( although i hope not!)

I love the way they hype up the Football Forum on RL. I hope someone does call Milan out again though. Its nice to know that either He (very doubt it) or one of his minions listens to it.
jimmer Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 What happens in the scenario of Milan wants to sell, Fryatt wants to stay? Milan surely has to honor the contract?
nuneatonfox Posted 11 January 2010 Posted 11 January 2010 If I was Pearson I would keep Fryatt because okay he's had poor start but I'm sure his boots will kickin soon. I would sell Andy King he's been poor to be honest, Steve Howard doesn't score enough. Also sell DJ just doesn't play for us.

Hes scored his fair share of goals and put in some good performances. I cant think of many times when hes been outshone by anyone else in the team. Also, im sure if we were able to sell DJ he would be gone by now

nuneatonfox Posted 11 January 2010 Posted 11 January 2010 Was it against Sheffield United, because I missed that game at the walkers.
