It is ok, it is sort of a B-version of 300, Gladiator and Rome if you get my meaning. Ok to watch, but nothing spectaculaer. But Thracian kicks ass, that is for sure.

Yes, there is a lot of sex and nudity, I however don't see the big fuss about that. If you want that, just see pron.

This way I can watch not only some flesh but some violence and abit of varied storyline....it covers all bases!!!
MikeyT Posted 20 February 2010 Author Posted 20 February 2010 Finally got around to seeing the first 2 episodes and was not impressed at all. Thought the acting was laughable, way way way too much CGI stuff and some parts i just found embarrassing to watch. Didn't think there was any need for the swearing in it either, and did they even have that type of language back then? Anyway i'm not a fan and won't be watching it again.

I do agree that it gets better as it goes along, in the third episode you begin to see some character development (crixus). I think I like it because it is so daring, I've never heard so much cocking, mother frigging filth.
