We're in desperate need of a strong home performance and a few goals, something we have seen very little of at the Walkers this season.

Scunny are hovering just above the drop zone, with 2 defeats in a row to West Brom and Palace, so once again on paper, we should beat these. Just like we should have beaten Doncaster.

I'm going to try to pretend we drew at Blackpool and won last night, that combination of 4 points just seems better than a draw last night and a win at Blackpool, i would have been delighed with 4 points from those 2 games and thats what we have.

Hopefully it will be 7 points from 3 games.

We are still 1 point ahead of 7th place with 2 games in hand, so a few wins in a row and we can get so far clear in 6th the chasing pack won't catch us.

Goals are a massive issue and with no Fryatt we will somehow need to score without him.

Hopefully Kermo and Waghorn will both be fit to start up front, and Dyer and N'Guessan are given starts on the wings at the expense of the poor Gallagher.

I can't see a 3rd 0-0 at home in a row, but i can't see us scoring, so i'm afraid it will be a 1-0 defeat Saturday :(

Stick Gallagher in AMC position and sacrifice Wellens or King in the middle. It's where he shines the most.

Agree with this.

Stick Gally in 'the hole' where he would be more comfortable and put the out-of-form Wellens on the bench.

Failing which, put him on the left side on the midfield feeding three strikers as has been suggested on the Team for Scunny thread.

My guess for Saturday, a tight game with us just about coming out on top.

1-0 with a goal from N'Guessan.

Quick glance gives us provisional 2nd in the lowest scoring table with 31 goals. Plymouth are top. Could be wrong though.

Plymouth and Swansea are above us in the lowest scorer charts!

4th best defence though!

Tough match this one. S****horpe have had some good results of late.

Hope they come and attack though, maybe the game might be a little more open and hopefully we'll take our chances.

3-0 Waghorn Kermo and Gallagher to get the goals maybe a bit optimistic after recent form but scunny are 21st and they have lost their last two.

Hoping for a win but S****horpe are definately not the worst team in the league and Gary Hooper isn't a bad striker at all. Looking forward to this and hope the attendence is much improved on yesterdays.

Just like against Doncaster, we play crap against crap sides (Sheffield Wednesday excluded) and only marginally improve the game when some better opposition comes visiting.

Sounds weird, but is Leicester City FC 2009/10.

Which means we should win this one.

1-0 to us. Scrappy goal from someone, preferrably a striker.

1-0 win. I don't care which one of 'em does it but whoever plays up front (in mattys place) I would hope recognises the window of opportunity and scores the winner!
