Guest nathan. Posted 12 February 2010 Posted 12 February 2010 Get Shabani Nonda in on a free. Did pretty well at Blackburn if I remember. Where the hell did that idea pop up from Forgot he even existed.
Shipman Out Posted 12 February 2010 Posted 12 February 2010 I remember a club who had a sim standard of first 11 as ours, solid at the back and in the midfield, they made a superb late run into the play offs and all the way to the play off final where they beat the favourites to get into the Premier League. Where they still are now. The reason they got up and the reason there whole team dynamic was transformed was because of one player they got in on loan someone who had pace and was far to good for the championship that player was Frazier Campbell (forgot his fooking name for a minute there!!!) and the team Hull Shitty i mean City. Now im not saying get him im just saying what a difference the right loan signing at the right time can make to an already solid team xx
dandannieldanok Posted 12 February 2010 Posted 12 February 2010 What club is going to loan us a player "with a view to a permanent move" when it's been said publicly for most of January that we don't have a penny to spend.

lcfc_jme Posted 12 February 2010 Posted 12 February 2010 Playing for Galatasaray but doubt he'll get a look in now. Pretty sure he's a free agent, mate.. But still, he'll go somewhere bigger than us and we wouldn't be able to afford his wages anyway.
dandannieldanok Posted 12 February 2010 Posted 12 February 2010 Wiki says he's a free agent. Also he has hosted the Burundian version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. .... get him in.
SMX11 Posted 12 February 2010 Posted 12 February 2010 Where the hell did that idea pop up from Forgot he even existed. I have a world of knowledge I heard Pompey was interested in him.

The Doctor Posted 12 February 2010 Posted 12 February 2010 Get Shabani Nonda in on a free. Did pretty well at Blackburn if I remember. was absolute class scorer at monaco many a moon ago, probably past it now. Just stick with what we have, give them a couple of weeks to see if they can't excel having come out from fryatt's shadow, then if not, loan time. After all, the only matches this month we have that realistically could cause us a problem are Brizzle and Florist.
Sir Fynwy Posted 12 February 2010 Posted 12 February 2010 Feed the Deej and he will score Feed him into a wood chipper and I'll celebrate
MC Prussian Posted 12 February 2010 Posted 12 February 2010 I'll celebrate once DJ scores a dozen in the remaining games of this season and we then sell him for a fortune.
marbelladave Posted 12 February 2010 Posted 12 February 2010 Feed him into a wood chipper and I'll celebrate I'll bring a bottle......
Guest ttfn Posted 13 February 2010 Posted 13 February 2010 Furthermore, Benjani's gone to Sunderland, so that's a resounding no. Sorry, Benjani was a stupid suggestion but the point stands, we need somebody with a track record. Consider the Erik Nevland bandwagon started!
CosbehFox Posted 13 February 2010 Posted 13 February 2010 Martin Paterson just came back from an injury at Burnley...needs games for a month. 19 goals last season.
sdb Posted 13 February 2010 Posted 13 February 2010 Can't we just try Gallagher up front now? Waghorn isn't always played as an out and out striker either and Kermit and Howard are decent support strikers. We're not blessed with fire power but I think we're better of than most people seem to realise.
Salieri Posted 13 February 2010 Posted 13 February 2010 Emergency loan striker? Naaaaaaaah, Gally has stepped up to the plate.
