Shit_arse Posted 10 February 2010 Posted 10 February 2010 Surely a must now - I imagine there must be a few strikers out there looking for first team football - especially at the top end of the Championship Who do people think this will be?
David Guiza Posted 10 February 2010 Posted 10 February 2010 Surely a must now - I imagine there must be a few strikers out there looking for first team football - especially at the top end of the Championship Who do people think this will be? I don't think we will. But then call DJ back <_< .
Tony Pine Posted 10 February 2010 Posted 10 February 2010 michael owen isn't getting a shot. similar player to matty.
ousefox Posted 10 February 2010 Posted 10 February 2010 Gone Qpr ah right...can't think of many others who would come that are any better than the current attackers we have now.
breadandcheesebrother Posted 10 February 2010 Posted 10 February 2010 ah right...can't think of many others who would come that are any better than the current attackers we have now. given that we still have quite a few strikers in the club, it wouldn't be too helpful for their confidence if we were to loan a striker in right away. That said, once they've proven they can't score, say in 3 or 4 games' time, i'm sure we'll get someone in. freddie sears? huntelaar?!
mmarkie Posted 10 February 2010 Posted 10 February 2010 Nige says if he can we will get someone in. And for all those saying recall DJ, he can't be recalled. Freddie Sears or James Vaughan for me.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 10 February 2010 Posted 10 February 2010 Dj cant be recalled. James Beattie/Kevin Phillips/ James Vaughan.
Guest nathan. Posted 10 February 2010 Posted 10 February 2010 Why loan in someone else, just recall DJ. Preferably someone who scores goals
David Guiza Posted 10 February 2010 Posted 10 February 2010 Dj cant be recalled. James Beattie/Kevin Phillips/ James Vaughan. Can't see us getting any of those 3. Would all be quality loans though.
David Guiza Posted 10 February 2010 Posted 10 February 2010 Andy Keogh isn't geting a look in at Wolves anymore, he may be injured though.
MC Prussian Posted 10 February 2010 Posted 10 February 2010 No need for an emergency striker, blimey. What we need is some emergency goals. Gallagher Waghorn Howard Kermorgant N'Guessan Two of them up front will do.
Ajax Treesdown Posted 10 February 2010 Posted 10 February 2010 James Vaughan or Nathan Delfouneso would do nicely
iancognito Posted 10 February 2010 Posted 10 February 2010 Vaughan's been at Derby this season and isn't getting in at Everton so he'd be a possibility, if only for a month or two. But I go back to what I said in the Fryatt thread, we've got Howard, Waghorn, Gallagher, NGuessan & Kermorgant and if Nige sticks to the 4-3-3, there must be a goalscoring combination in there somewhere.

If you include anagrams there might be! I've no reason to be convinced otherwise.
00rawat Posted 10 February 2010 Posted 10 February 2010 I think its time to give Gallagher a run upfront.
