Babylon Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 Cole is going to be out for three months after sustaining a fractured leg in last nights game!! Looks like John Terry and Wayne Bridge are gonna have to make up and quickly!!!! England are now without our two starting full backs Cole and Johnson, both to long term injuries... not good for our chances.
StanSP Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 Hoping Baines gets in ahead of Bridge, regardless of the Terry scandal.
lildave3 Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 Leighton Baines/Stephen Warnock to the rescue.
JimmyK Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 Lot of people speculating Leighton Baines might be preferred for England unless Bridge does notably well having recovered from his injury. Edit: Oh yes, and maybe Warnock as well As for Chelsea, it gives Zhirkov a proper run in the team I guess, be interesting to see how he does.
lcfc_jme Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 Good. He's a useless soppy cunt anyway, can't stand him. Should have broken his leg. willy puller.
Samilktray Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 This is a massive blow, hope he recovers in time to play an important part in our World Cup win.

Guest Bilo Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 Leeeeeighton Baines You probably think this song is about you, Leeeeeighton Baines.....
Bakey Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 Weak, one of the best left backs in the world IMO, Baines ahead of bridge anyday.
Guest Bilo Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 Weak, one of the best left backs in the world IMO,Baines ahead of bridge anyday. I agree with your judgement on Cole. He was the only full-back I saw capable of having Ronaldo firmly in his pocket every time they met in the Premiership. Pace, decent tackler and a good attacking instinct. Pains me to say it because I can't stand the twunt as a bloke but he is a big loss. Baines should be an able deputy though.
ousefox Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 Hope he gets back to full fitness in time for World Cup. I know he is a complete tool but he is still probably the best left back in the world.
purpleronnie Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 Hope he gets back to full fitness in time for World Cup. I know he is a complete tool but he is still probably the best left back in the world.

Budweiser Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 ??? I think most people would agree he's the best left back in the world, if not, he's definitely close. He might be a twat, but he's clearly a key player for us, so hopefully he'll recover before the world cup (fully).

Ford Super Sunday Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 Fingers crossed he's ready for the World Cup
lcfc_jme Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 Fingers crossed he's ready for the World Cup lol lol If that's not conclusive proof he's a closet homosexual then I don't know what is. He almost looks gayer than Cliff Byrne. :crylaugh:
Nationwider Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 Bruno Berner's not played for Switzerland for years, and must be close to being able to apply for dual nationality in Britain by now? He's be following in the proud tradition of LCFC left-footers to have played for England after playing the best football of their career at Filbo/Walkers - Mattock, Powell, Guppy, Wilcox and so on... England's number 3.

Mikey Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 I argue Ashley's side but I always get.... "Evra!?" Evra is better than Cole. Fact.
Nationwider Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 I thought if you played for your country at full International level then you can't play for another national team, regardless of your citizenship? Could be wrong. TBH, you may be right. It's been done before with cricketers playing for two countries at Test match level - Kepler Wessels being the most recent, I think. Legally, I can't see why I couldn't be challenged through EU law. You can challenge pretty much anything through EU law these days. Bruno for England.
AmericanScott Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 Was it my main mutha ****a Landon who spanked around Cole last night? Can't wait to watch USA rip England to shreds
StanSP Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 Was it my main mutha ****a Landon who spanked around Cole last night? Can't wait to watch USA rip England to shreds Donovan's been playing pretty well here actually, not just for last night. One player won't rip England to shreds though
Hugo Sanchez Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 Typical just as we're getting closer to the world cup. Also purpleronnie, you really hate the english don't you ? Ashley Cole is by far one of the best left backs in the world ... Seriously probally because your been watching to much MAJOR LEAGUE SOCCCCER but over the last 3 years Coles proved not just in the premiership but in the champion league, he's one of the better left backs in the world. Why will you never give a english sportsman credit ?
Tommeh Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 Hopefully Cheryl's working abroad while he's out. 3 months lounging around with her is the last this cu nt deserves. And I'd much rather see Warnock at the world cup thanks.
