Hugo Sanchez Posted 11 February 2010 Posted 11 February 2010 Hopefully Cheryl's working abroad while he's out.3 months lounging around with her is the last this cu nt deserves. And I'd much rather see Warnock at the world cup thanks. You honestly think he's a better left back then Cole ? I'll admit he's a cock but on the pitch i think he's our best option.

Wouldn't say he's better no chance, Just that if he's struggling for the WC (crucial 2 months to miss really) then Warnocks the best alternative.

Uncle Albert Posted 12 February 2010 Posted 12 February 2010 Good. He's a useless soppy cunt anyway, can't stand him. Should have broken his leg. willy puller. Useless? You may hate him mate but he is hardly useless. Why people are pleased about this I will never know, he is clearly one of the best left backs in the world if not the best so England need him badly, possibly one of England's better performers in recent matches or do we judge Cole on his personal life aswell? I would probably go for Baines ahead of Warnock tbh, better fullback and offers us something at set peices with his left foot. Still this is bad news for England.
hairy Posted 12 February 2010 Posted 12 February 2010 Bad news for England. Lets hope the other key players all make it to SA.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 12 February 2010 Posted 12 February 2010 Ashley Cole is the best left back in the world, no question. Really hope he gets fit.

dandannieldanok Posted 12 February 2010 Posted 12 February 2010 Disaster. Bridge is absolutely shite. Agreed. Hopefully Capello realises this and picks Warnock, and also tries to persuade Charles N'Zogbia to represent England. Even Leighton Baines would be better than Bridge.
Simo86 Posted 12 February 2010 Posted 12 February 2010 I'd rather have James Milner playing LB than Bridge

To me, he's useless in a kind of "every day life" "why is he still alive?" kind of sense. Defensively it's a huge blow for England if he misses out but I'll find it piss funny if he misses out and cries because of my own personal opinions on the gimp.
Bert Posted 12 February 2010 Posted 12 February 2010 Stick Gareth Barry at left back! For me, Cole's the best left back in the world and if he doesn't make it he'll be a big miss. I'll never forget the game against Portugal when he had Ronaldo in his pocket, what a performance that was.
maddog Posted 12 February 2010 Posted 12 February 2010 The Bridge/Terry world cup final punch up could still be on then
Tilley Posted 12 February 2010 Posted 12 February 2010 Disaster. Bridge is absolutely shite. Yep. I am hoping Cole will be training and gaining match fitness just in time for WC. If not, Baines ahead of Warnock please.
RowlattsFox Posted 12 February 2010 Posted 12 February 2010 Unless Baines has improved greatly this season, then Warnock gets the nod for me and I think Bridge is good player if he gets to his best. Baines was very suspect defensively but I've not seen too much of him this season.

Baines was very suspect defensively but I've not seen too much of him this season. I'm hopeful that Cole WILL be fit and in decent shape to play in the tournament. However, if he doesn't make it, this football blog on the World Cup is very worried about the lack of depth. Is Wayne Bridge really the next best left back we have?? Personally, I don't think he has done enough since leaving Southamption to warrant being a top class player. Saying that, Cole is probably the best left back in the World. So, would any country have an adequate replacement for him??? In terms of someone to 'do the best job'... I'd give it to Warnock on current form.
Filbert_Ross Posted 15 February 2010 Posted 15 February 2010 Im suprised some heads on here aint started harping on about Mattock as a replacement yet.
StanSP Posted 15 February 2010 Posted 15 February 2010 Im suprised some heads on here aint started harping on about Mattock as a replacement yet. Why would they? He's done nothing special at WBA.
Filbert_Ross Posted 15 February 2010 Posted 15 February 2010 Why would they? He's done nothing special at WBA. yeah you and I know that. he did nothing here either but didnt stop people thinking he was the best thing since sliced bread
hairy Posted 23 February 2010 Posted 23 February 2010 And surprise, surprise Sheryl is leaving him! Not a good start to the year for Ashley
Monk Posted 23 February 2010 Posted 23 February 2010 Reading between the lines sounds like Ashley has a 'wrist' injury. What a twonk.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 23 February 2010 Posted 23 February 2010 And surprise, surprise Sheryl is leaving him! Not a good start to the year for Ashley I thought she was going to 'fight for this love'. Just not very hard, clearly. What a lying bitch
Guest Mee-9 Posted 23 February 2010 Posted 23 February 2010 Weak, Limp, Lifeless... Bit like your marriage was Cheryl.
