Guest Mee-9 Posted 21 February 2010 Posted 21 February 2010 That pitch was dreadful. Surely clubs should be able to put a better effort than that.
z-layrex Posted 21 February 2010 Posted 21 February 2010 I think Plymouth should be docked points for having a pitch like that. It's unprofessional.
Ozwin Posted 21 February 2010 Posted 21 February 2010 The day we lose shitty pitches like that is the day english football is gone forever.

ozleicester Posted 21 February 2010 Posted 21 February 2010 The day we lose shitty pitches like that is the day english football is gone forever. This Football is a winter sport, and muddy pitches are a part of it, other option is to go indoors and put in artificial
Karljohn Posted 21 February 2010 Posted 21 February 2010 Cheers DavieG. I know Blackpool seafront was having a lot of work done on it when I went up a couple of weeks ago but I hadnt realised that they had relocated the beach to Home Park, Plymouth?
Bluemoon Posted 21 February 2010 Posted 21 February 2010 Hang on a minute lads. I know our pitch is a disgrace, but something tells me your turf wasn't exactly up to much the season you got relegated. It used to be fine untill the club had the clever idea of staging concerts on it during the Summer growing period. The profit they made from the concerts will barely cover the cost of relaying a new one this Summer.
Babylon Posted 21 February 2010 Posted 21 February 2010 That's a quality own goal... I wish out strikers could hit the target like that!!

maddog Posted 21 February 2010 Posted 21 February 2010 Comedy own goal, Frank Sinclair esque. Remember when he poped one into the bottom corner at Anfield once
Babylon Posted 21 February 2010 Posted 21 February 2010 I thought the Walkers wasn't allowed to hold concerts He started off talking about us but then went onto Plymouth holding concerts.
z-layrex Posted 21 February 2010 Posted 21 February 2010 Daft Look it's one of the thought police. . And considering you posted 'Pearson out' in all seriousness last month, for you to call ME daft is absolutely historical.

Corky Posted 21 February 2010 Posted 21 February 2010 Even if it was more accurate, it's still not a great backpass, off the ground with Dyer possibly closing the keeper down. Great header from their guy.

That pitch was right up there in the Sunday League stakes with Blackpool's.
