Dylan Posted 30 March 2010 Posted 30 March 2010 We've lost 3 in a row, gaining 1 point from a possible 12. WBA are unbeaten in 6, winning 5 and drawing 1. They've also won their last 8 home league games. It'll be a tough game, but we showed positives in our 2nd half performance against Cardiff. Point would be decent, win would be excellent. However, we have not taken an away point against the top6 all season. They beat us 2-1 at the Walkers earlier in the season, but we played well 2nd half of that game IMO (it was similar to tonight's game v Cardiff). The last time we played at the Hawthorne's was in our relegation season i think. We won 4-1 i think, with a Steve Howard hat-trick. Would be great for it to happen again! Hopefully Berner will be back at LB. I'd start with 2 up front, with Howard and Vaughan, resting Waghorn. My prediction ---> West Bromwich Albion 1-1 Leicester City (Dorrans; Howard)
maddog Posted 30 March 2010 Posted 30 March 2010 Very tough game, i'm fooking well excited. A win here and it would be beautiful. 3-2 win, last second goal from someone in blue
jonthefox Posted 30 March 2010 Posted 30 March 2010 Very tough game, i'm fooking well excited. A win here and it would be beautiful. 3-2 win, last second goal from someone in blue Thats the spirit. 3 defeats , and were still gonna do the baggies.
ROWLEY_LCFC Posted 30 March 2010 Posted 30 March 2010 Hopefully the boys will rise to the occasion and put in a performance they gave in the secong half tonight all game and sneak a win
Ozwin Posted 30 March 2010 Posted 30 March 2010 It'll be one of those weekends where I fear watching SSN. Bricking it now.
nffc_Galidia Posted 30 March 2010 Posted 30 March 2010 Best of luck fellas, hope you can keep in the playoff zone., Leicester vs Forest at Wembley would be fantastic.
C-man Posted 30 March 2010 Posted 30 March 2010 Best of luck fellas, hope you can keep in the playoff zone., Leicester vs Forest at Wembley would be fantastic. What you mean is you hope we peg back WBA so you still have a glimmer of 2nd place? Would prefer you in the semi's. The City Ground would be unbelievable and the WS might actually outdo Leeds at home last season. The way we're going at the moment makes this seem more likely anyway! The onto Wembley, beat one of the Welshies with the whole of England behind us.
stevolcfc Posted 30 March 2010 Posted 30 March 2010 Prediction WBA 1 Dorrans (36) Leicetser 2 Waghorn (60) Wellens (90 + 2 ) wellens goal is coming how many sold anyone know i got my ticket today
flanimal Posted 30 March 2010 Posted 30 March 2010 Wellens is due a goal. Last two games, best shots on goal have come from him. He has a decent shot on him when he's up for it.
stevolcfc Posted 30 March 2010 Posted 30 March 2010 Yeah , his shot was pretty good today saw it on SSN hope we will win at WBA due a win hope my prediction comes true would be amazing .
carterfox90 Posted 30 March 2010 Posted 30 March 2010 have gone for the loss they were probably the best team ive seen at the walkers this season hope i'm very wrong & mattock scores a last minute own goal to give us all 3 points
Donut Posted 31 March 2010 Posted 31 March 2010 This is EXACTLY the sort of game we need at this stage of the season Everybody outside of Leicester City football club expects us to lose this game, that WBA will be comfortable, given the form of the two teams. From that point of view, the pressure is off id say, and theres no added incentive needed to play a quality side like West Brom. Imagine not only the boost of three points over Blackpool, but the momentum a win would give us to take into the remaining games after West Brom. It would really say "we aint going away, we want this and we aint letting it go" . I reckon the Leicester dressing room will really fancy this game. YES West Brom are a quality side, but look at the football we have produced against top sides at times. On a bad run of form, and down to 10 men early, the performance we put in against Newcastle was stirring, committed, passionate, and simply brilliant, and it kick started a great run of form. Similarly, smarting from the 5-1 loss to forest away, look at the second half display we produced to batter them 3-0 at home and restore midlands pride. It is also a fact that we have gifted points to lower placed teams as frequently as the so called 'top teams' At this stage of the season, its all about character. Its about guts, sweat, effort, desire, running yourself into the ground and dying for the cause And that will begin at the Hawthorns in front of the travelling Leicester fans and Sky TV
BoneDog Posted 31 March 2010 Posted 31 March 2010 We are going to play like Brazil. 2-2 Gallagher diving header from 12 yards and Morrison 35 yard rocket, top right corner. If Oakley is back in the 11 I think he might nick a goal, depending on how the past week has affected him. (was his last goal at Cheltenham away? Watched the goals from that match the other day and wondered if he's scored since, can't remember)

Callabinho Posted 31 March 2010 Posted 31 March 2010 We will win! NP will kick a boot at Robbie Neilson’s face out of frustration! He will get dreadfully angry run his little Scottish ass off, ping in two beautiful crosses and big Stevie Howard will leap to bullet header them in! then Waggy will use his brutal strength to unleash an unstoppable left foot death driver into the top corner we will Boing the crap out of there fans and up to 5th ! GET INTO EM………

UrbanFox Posted 31 March 2010 Posted 31 March 2010 In true Leicester City Style, we have lost 3 on the bounce its all doom and gloom ,and then we will turn over the best footballing side in the division in there own back yard! West Brom 1 Leicester 3

We can play good football, and tbh I wasn't that impressed with WBA when they played us at home. That lucky 25 yard equaliser that went past everyone. We'll definately get something out of the game.
AyewJoking Posted 31 March 2010 Posted 31 March 2010 Hmmm, I'm going for a 0-0 which would be a very good result given the circumstances.
lovelcfc Posted 31 March 2010 Posted 31 March 2010 93 rd minute n guessan header blue army go crazy ive got a good feeling about this good second half at cardiff take that into west brom
Guest parky0607 Posted 31 March 2010 Posted 31 March 2010 I think we are far by due to get back to winning ways ... and if it's against west brom, even better! C'mon city!!
Ford Super Sunday Posted 31 March 2010 Posted 31 March 2010 The only positive i'll extract is that the last time we lost three games in a row we played Newcastle, a tough team at the top of the table, and we outplayed them with 10 men!
