Shan't be losing much sleep over this.

Same here, I really dont think Pearson would walk out on us, I will not even be worried if a team Slightly bigger than burnley came in for him. only a team in the top half of prem like an Everton or Villa ish size team would worry me.

Teams like Bolton, Newcastle, Wigan, Sunderland, West Brom would worry me too. Our only worry is if we don't go up and another chairman at a bigger club (NOT BURNLEY!!!) realises what a truly remarkable job he has done at Leicester - with much less resources than previous management and against the backdrop of fairly demanding and expectant fans. But i'm not losing sleep, he knows the fans love him and that must be worth a hell of alot to a manager. Why leave yet?

What do you have against Brown? Did an excellent job in getting a club like Hull into the premier league and kept them up too. Not his fault if he couldnt persuade players to play for the sh*thole.

Location: Leicester

Let's not be ruining that nice glass house now.

The terms of the contract would vastly differ depending on which league we are in next season, so makes sense to wait.

Leicester manager Nigel Pearson is totally focused on securing the Foxes a Championship play-off spot rather than his own future.

Pearson, who has a year remaining on his contract at the Walkers Stadium, is in talks with owner Milan Mandaric about a new deal.

The 46-year-old has been linked with the vacant Celtic job as well as Brian Laws' position at Burnley but Pearson refuses to be

sidetracked from the task in hand after his side moved closer to a top-six finish with a 4-1 home in over Watford on Saturday.

"I am just concentrating on my job here. I have a three-year contract and there are clauses in it. Like any contract, there are different clauses and I don't think anyone needs to know that," said Pearson.

"It (the speculation) doesn't bother me at all. I don't think it is appropriate to be talking about other people's jobs while they are still in them. It is a bit unfair on them. We all have jobs to do and are trying our best to do them."

Pearson added: "We are not quite guaranteed the play-offs but we are in a decent position. We have two games to go and we have to make sure we do what we need to do to get a play-off place."

Burnley fan here,

Burnley is a shit hole blah blah.

Remember this.

We got promoted and got 60 million this year.

We are also due to millions in parachute payments.

Now you maybe a bigger club, but calling Burnley a shithole etc. Kettle Pot and Black spring to mind.

We have way more money than you, and way better players than you, with the right manager will walk that division next year.

A manager wants to be a winner, and with a bigger budget and better players i would be worried

You got about 18million actually... you get the rest if you stay up... so.... Ooops... the parachute payments are a reduction of the 60 million you would of got.

And you appear to have no defence, a single decent midfielder and a bunch of strikers who couldn't score in a brothel so good luck next year... your certainly not going down in the same shape as newcastle, west brom or middlesbrough...

I think you may be underestimating what a difficult league The Championship is. I remember when we got relegated from the Prem all those years ago having a very similar opinion. Now the league is tougher than it was then. You will have a more difficult year next year than you imagine, even if Nigel Pearson is in charge.

lol You scraped up through the playoffs, the best of a bad bunch, and got roundly dicked on in the Premier League. You're little better than Derby were, and look how successful they've been since they came down...
