Ford Super Sunday Posted 22 April 2010 Posted 22 April 2010 Colin Murray's gonna get it, apparantly the Head of Football at the BBC is infatuated by him, and attempts to persuade him to get Chappers or Walker are failing.
Koke Posted 22 April 2010 Posted 22 April 2010 Eh?! You must be thinking of someone else mate. Crooksy aint afraid to get down on his knees and tackle the tough issues. What led to Crooks and Littlejohn discussing American niggas at 8.22am?
Basingstoke Fox Posted 22 April 2010 Posted 22 April 2010 I always liked Chappers on the Scott Mills show on radio one so I'll just say him . Don't think I know who James Richardson is though to be honest.
Fosse Boy Posted 22 April 2010 Posted 22 April 2010 He used to present this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6CMrtb2EYKk&feature=related
AjcW Posted 22 April 2010 Posted 22 April 2010 Wouldn't surprise me if Chappers got it to be honest Either Mark Chapman or James Richardson. Would probably go for Chapman, Wouldn't mind Chappers. He just left the beeb a few months because ESPN offered him more money, why would he go back?? P.s. Football Italia was the best football show ever.... Golaccio!
Ford Super Sunday Posted 22 April 2010 Posted 22 April 2010 He just left the beeb a few months because ESPN offered him more money, why would he go back?? P.s. Football Italia was the best football show ever.... Golaccio! He still works for the BBC on Five Live, like Murray he is working for more than one broadcaster.
Guest Posted 22 April 2010 Posted 22 April 2010 He just left the beeb a few months because ESPN offered him more money, why would he go back?? P.s. Football Italia was the best football show ever.... Golaccio! Funny, cos I saw him when I was in the studio the other week. He did Saturday 5LS too
Corky Posted 22 April 2010 Posted 22 April 2010 Funny, cos I saw him when I was in the studio the other week. He did Saturday 5LS too Yep, he was presenting Final Score a few weeks ago.
Sir Fynwy Posted 22 April 2010 Posted 22 April 2010 Surely Chapman is going to just stay on ESPN? Not that I care, I haven't watched Motd2 all season. I'm with you on that, I've never watched MOTD2 and see little point in the program.
Head Honcho Posted 22 April 2010 Posted 22 April 2010 James Richardson, standard. Colin Murray or Tim Lovejoy can fvck off. I only bought a TV license for the first time in about 3 years last week, they can't backdoor me like that straight away. I would take Garth Crooks though. I could watch him all day. I think we all know the only reason he hasn't made the top job already. You don't seriously expect us to believe he's not been given the top job already because he's an ex-spurs player do you He's not been given the job because he's shite it's that simple!
Ford Super Sunday Posted 22 April 2010 Posted 22 April 2010 Confirmed, Colin Murray Colin Murray will present the BBC 2 World Cup highlights show daily at 2200 BST and has also been announced as the new presenter of Match of the Day 2.
Alexikokopops Posted 22 April 2010 Posted 22 April 2010 I'm with you on that, I've never watched MOTD2 and see little point in the program. I find I watch it more often than the normal MOTD. I'm often out on a Saturday evening and find MOTD2 a good end to the weekend.
Tommeh Posted 22 April 2010 Posted 22 April 2010 MOTD2 > MOTD very rare I'll be in on a saturday night to watch the latter, same with Football League Show but thats on the iplayer. Plus Lee Dixon's a pretty clued up pundit with Hanson, works well.
Anish Posted 22 April 2010 Posted 22 April 2010 I'm with you on that, I've never watched MOTD2 and see little point in the program. You might not see much point in MOTD2 but how else do people without Sky get to watch highlights of the Sunday matches? MOTD2 is great for those of us without Sky or if we've missed MOTD on Saturday. It's more light hearted than MOTD which makes it more enjoyable, and I'm a big fan of what Adrian Chiles did for the programme.
leicesterfox86 Posted 23 April 2010 Posted 23 April 2010 Bet Murray can't believe his luck to be honest - gone from late night Radio One show to one of the main BBC Sport presenteres in no time at all....! Fair play to him.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 23 April 2010 Posted 23 April 2010 Chapman also does The Late Kick Off programme for some region in London, I think. Then again, what do I know?
dandannieldanok Posted 24 April 2010 Posted 24 April 2010 Murray (for me anyway) has been a revelation on the BBC since moving from the shoddy production of Channel 5. MOTD2 is a good programme and this is decent news in my opinion.
