FoxyPV Posted 21 April 2010 Posted 21 April 2010 Just read that Colin Murray is favourite to take over from him. Who would everyone else like to see as the presenter? My personal favourite would be James Richardson but I think he's a bit too acerbic for the BBC.
Alexikokopops Posted 21 April 2010 Posted 21 April 2010 They all sound like awful options, except for James Richardson. James Richardson is a hero
BrummieFOX Posted 21 April 2010 Posted 21 April 2010 Richardson please!! Very knowledgeable, witty and mainly, not an idiot. Guardian, Football Weekly is quality listening every week. I've got a feeling it will be Gabby to be honest. Oatley on the sofa??? http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/jrformotd2/ Do it!
Tony Pine Posted 21 April 2010 Posted 21 April 2010 please god no murray or logan! it's bad enough with monkey boy keown and 'common sense must SURELY preavail' boring arse lee dixon jr is a great shout. have him present it in a dingy cafe in london too.
BrummieFOX Posted 21 April 2010 Posted 21 April 2010 have him present it in a dingy cafe in london too. Ha, great shout! I wouldn't be surprised if they got Richard fooking Hammond to present it - I'm sick of seeing his face on tv. Most likely combination: Hammond, Gaga and a Chef.
StanSP Posted 21 April 2010 Posted 21 April 2010 James Richardson. Bring back the Serie A football show he did too.
Shrenchel Posted 21 April 2010 Posted 21 April 2010 James Richardson, standard. Colin Murray or Tim Lovejoy can fvck off. I only bought a TV license for the first time in about 3 years last week, they can't backdoor me like that straight away. I would take Garth Crooks though. I could watch him all day. I think we all know the only reason he hasn't made the top job already.
FoxyPV Posted 21 April 2010 Author Posted 21 April 2010 I would take Garth Crooks though. I could watch him all day. I could take or leave him but don't like him as an interviewer because he's such a sycophant
Shrenchel Posted 21 April 2010 Posted 21 April 2010 I could take or leave him but don't like him as an interviewer because he's such a sycophant Eh?! You must be thinking of someone else mate. Crooksy aint afraid to get down on his knees and tackle the tough issues.
Corky Posted 21 April 2010 Posted 21 April 2010 Either Mark Chapman or James Richardson. Would probably go for Chapman,
Tony Pine Posted 21 April 2010 Posted 21 April 2010 chapman is appalling, definitely not him and his throaty northern accent.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 21 April 2010 Posted 21 April 2010 Why hasn't anyone mention Manish? Don't think they'd give him two shows.
lildave3 Posted 21 April 2010 Posted 21 April 2010 Surely Chapman is going to just stay on ESPN? Not that I care, I haven't watched Motd2 all season.
Fosse Boy Posted 21 April 2010 Posted 21 April 2010 Jimboy Richardson for me, unless they give Manish a promotion. If it's Tim Lovejoy I'll boycott the BBC.
BoneDog Posted 22 April 2010 Posted 22 April 2010 Stanley Collymore for me. He has a great radio show, but no doubt it'll be another dull BBC middle class clackhead. Hope it's not Murray. I'll never forgive him for replacing Ray Stubbs on BBC Darts (I don't care if it was Ray's decision to leave). Chiles is definately no loss. Rubbish
FoxyPV Posted 22 April 2010 Author Posted 22 April 2010 Eh?! You must be thinking of someone else mate. Crooksy aint afraid to get down on his knees and tackle the tough issues. Didn't see that but every time I see him interview a player he basically has his tongue up their arse the entire time.
