Ozwin Posted 10 June 2010 Posted 10 June 2010 I think most of us would say the Ade Akinbiyi transfer was the worst one of all time but DJ Campbell has done nothing for us, he's been here since 2007, scored 4 goals and whined and complained the whole time after his bum chum Martin Allen left. If you think about it he cost us around 500k a goal, which is a shocking return and he's shown no class on or off the pitch in his 3 years here. Along with that he's been taking 20k a week off of us for doing **** all and it really angers me. I know it's not all been his fault but he's hardly made it easy for himself has he? I just checked the OS and he isn't on the squad page. Reckon there's something to that which we don't know yet?
davieG Posted 10 June 2010 Posted 10 June 2010 Maybe maybe not but he'll take some beating on the number of Topics and posts about him.
Guest NGoloMode Posted 10 June 2010 Posted 10 June 2010 Definitely a Leicester flop but when we loan him out he always does well. But Akinbiyi was crap everywhere he went.

Guest Basildon Fox Posted 10 June 2010 Posted 10 June 2010 No way! our biggest flop.....Sergio Hellings! Dennis fooking Wise. Also Hossein Kaebi - Absolute cack. The one and only time I have been taken in by a You Tube Video. Spider Kalac. How he played for AC Milan I will never know.
armstonfox Posted 10 June 2010 Posted 10 June 2010 tbh we never really got to see sergio hellings or hossain kabie, but someone who only had 1 good game then the rest he was absolutly **** was josh low, he was awfull!
pooleyLCFC Posted 10 June 2010 Posted 10 June 2010 Gotta be between DJ and Akinbiyi purely for the fact they cost millions
teblin Posted 11 June 2010 Posted 11 June 2010 Ade for me just because of the £5.5 million we spent on him and i can't see us ever spending that kind of money again.
MrSpaM Posted 11 June 2010 Posted 11 June 2010 Dunno about biggest flop, but his attitude towards our club has been nothing short of diabolical. I don't think i've ever heard a player slate a club their currently signed for this much in my life. bye bye DJ, shut the door behind you when you leave.

I don't know Pierre Van Hooijdonk refusing to play anymore for Forest always makes me chuckle.
Jon the Hat Posted 11 June 2010 Posted 11 June 2010 Spider Kalac. How he played for AC Milan I will never know. He got older, more experienced and better. This is what players do*. *Decent one anyway.
Edmund Posted 11 June 2010 Posted 11 June 2010 I don't know Pierre Van Hooijdonk refusing to play anymore for Forest always makes me chuckle. Pierre Van Hooijdonk was world class though One of my favourite ever players to grace the English game. Does anyone remember that rocket he scored at Filbert Street?
AyewJoking Posted 11 June 2010 Posted 11 June 2010 I doubt most people other than Leicester fans will be aware Campbell played for us at all.
haraven Posted 11 June 2010 Posted 11 June 2010 DJ doesn't even reach the kneecaps of Ade Akinbyie in Leicester City Hall of Fame of Cock Up'd Buys.
Mack Posted 12 June 2010 Posted 12 June 2010 He used to work as a courier delivery driver when he was semi pro. You would think he would have a little more respect for all the money and nice things that a big salary offered by a team like Leicester can give him. I used to think he was just shit, but given recent loan spells I now realize he can only operate effectively at small clubs where he is the big fish in a small pond and everyone wants to polish his balls. Put him in the reverse position and he just cant be arsed. Take the 500-800k and be happy he is out the door, I think in the end he will just be forgotten at Leicester.
acooling08 Posted 12 June 2010 Posted 12 June 2010 At least Ade tried hard, but he just wasn't up to it. DJ on the other hand, is just a pure cvnt.
purpleronnie Posted 12 June 2010 Posted 12 June 2010 I bet DJ can't believe whats happend to him, he's in the premiership we aint, get over it.
dandannieldanok Posted 12 June 2010 Posted 12 June 2010 I bet DJ can't believe whats happend to him, he's in the premiership we aint, get over it. He isn't in the premier league yet though, Blackpool don't seem overly keen to splash the cash on him.
Jay Posted 12 June 2010 Posted 12 June 2010 At least Ade tried hard, but he just wasn't up to it. DJ on the other hand, is just a pure cvnt. I think that's the important thing to remember, it wasn't his fault the goon Taylor paid all that money for him and you couldn't fault his attitude or application it was just a step to far for him, but he always tried and put the effort and commitment in, DJ on the other hand hasn't given a shit about the club since he signed no application, no effort, no desire to play for the club for what seems like the moment he signed
