Mikey Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Not too fussed about Leeds really being a Tuesday night really, hardly the greatest place to go and Uncle Ken charged us £30 in league 1, I'd imagine that price will only go up. Bristol City is another good 3pm game. Yep, couldn't really give a toss about Leeds away.
Sods Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Think its always important to have a Home Game last day of the season. Watch sky go and ruin the Tv ruin that Portsmouth game. Well up for the season now.
Cobbo Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Absolutely gutted, I have a wedding to go to Knew I'd miss the opening game, was just reeeaaalllyyyy hoping it wouldn't Palace/Millwall away.
Maybes Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Just booked Palace train tickets. £19.80 08.57 out , 19.25 return. Get on it. Early return James. Lovely first awayer this is. I think Sheff United on a tuesday night has the potential to be a cracking night.
Alexikokopops Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Forgive my ignorance, I don't normally do trains to games but I'm thinking of doing this one (especially for that price). Which station is it to Palace? Buy your ticket to St Pancras. Then get a day travel card when you're in London and that'll cover all your London travel (make sure it covers at least zones 1-4). The station for Palace is Thornton Heath, and you can get a train there from Victoria or London Bridge.

lovelcfc Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 should be able to go to norwich, maybe leeds, swansea watford, ipswitch, cardiff, forest, derby, sheffield united good season ahead
Chairman of the Bored Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Liking the Leeds Boxing Day and Tractor Boys last match of the season routine. The only bad one for me is S****hrope at home, which clashes with the Scummers vs Bournemouth. It's a tough start though. Top six by the end of August and it's game on!
maddog Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Early return James. Lovely first awayer this is. I think Sheff United on a tuesday night has the potential to be a cracking night. We had that last season and it was decent. Shame we didn't hold on to the win though.
Corky Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Bit disappointed that Sheffield Utd away is midweek but relieved that (so far) the main derbies are weekends.
Tommeh Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 The only time I'm not based in Sheffield througout next season is when we have the Blunts away. Horrific luck! Spare bed going if anyones staying over
irDeano Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Really disappointed leeds and norwich away are midweek games, unless my timetable next year is good on a tuesday then I doubt I'd be able to get there Really disappointed we have such a tough first few games as well, sure it's a good test but a couple of nicer games would've been welcome, it's always nice to start off the season well! Ah well, just gotta hope Burnley are not on form (with Brian Laws as manager this is quite likely though, really do not rate him) and reading can't find the form they hit at the end of last season.
Dom_Harborough Fox Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Crackin opener! Would've preferred to start at home because I think we stand a better chance of getting 3 points at Filbert Way & its important to get off to a good start. But as far as away days go, Palace is right up there. Bring it on! Being the fool that I am though, it has only just occurred to me that I don't go back to uni until mid-september so its back to begging & pleading for time off work for games until then Really really really hope I can make Palace!

Why? Are there some Underground stations you missed on your last detour?
Mikey Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Why? Are there some Underground stations you missed on your last detour? Nah, he wants to try something other than the Whopper meal at Burger King.
Wilkesy Posted 18 June 2010 Posted 18 June 2010 Palace away has epic written all over it. Me and Sir Rob are looking at getting a train from Nuneaton to Euston at 9ish (under £5) and then heading back to Leicester from St Pancras after 9pm (under £10). So it can be done for under £15 if booked soon. Plenty of beers on the train followed by a Wetherspoons breakfast and a lot more beer and maybe a few jagers, then the game followed by more beer and maybe a visit to a curry house before returning home. Love it!

iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 19 June 2010 Posted 19 June 2010 Cov have a good fixture list, big games on saturdays.
lanxfox Posted 20 June 2010 Posted 20 June 2010 Forest away on St Georges Day. Need revenge for last season over the tree scum Agree, how they beat us with that score escapes me, they look as shit as ever now, I shall expect relegation for them next season
Ilkeston_Fox Posted 20 June 2010 Posted 20 June 2010 Agree, how they beat us with that score escapes me, they look as shit as ever now, I shall expect relegation for them next season Hmmm. They finished higher than us. OK they had a relatively poor start and end to the season, but they had a very good middle. As for the 5-1, I have to ask...did you go? They were by far and away the better team and the score line could/should have been worse. We were truly dreadful that day. I'd love to get some revenge on them but I don't see them having a relegation battle on their hands next season. Though I'd gladly eat a slice of humble pie come the end of next season. Back to the topic, does anyone know what sort of allocation we can be expecting for us at Palace?
