lou Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 First game is a belter and I cant wait. GUTTED about the Leeds fixtures (both of em) as I was gonna meet up with a loada mates but none of em can travel on a Tuesday OR Boxing day. The rest is a bit Meh, not gonna trek to Norwich on a Tuesday night for £30 quid a ticket but will probably make most of the rest.
CosbehFox Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Cardiff away on a Tuesday night in Feb is the worst. Along with Norwich. Leeds is just about do-able for anyone who finishes at 4 and Sheff Yoo was easy last year (in fact, there are the kind of fixtures that the FL should position on evenings along with Doncaster). The boneheads will love Christmas and New Year.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 How the hell can you get something like that wrong, when it clearly says Doncaster away at the end of that month? All right don't get a fooking boner. Typical foxestalker.
General Smuts Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 I'm gonna post this again because im so excited. Palace away on my birthday is unreal! fooking love it.
The Doctor Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 great draw. Lot of the aways are nicely positioned (only 2 week nights during term) and the london (except mill) + Pompey aways on weekends. Roll on August now.
Alexikokopops Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 They had to put Millwall away at the one time I'm guaranteed to be out of London. Bastards.
StanSP Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 How is it a tough fixture list? We have to play every team twice regardless. Fairly please with that to be honest. I said yesterday it'd be palace away first. I wasn't being serious.
Wilkesy Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 I'm gonna post this again because im so excited. Palace away on my birthday is unreal! fooking love it. Plenty of beers to be had before and after then mate.
Dan Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Anyone have any idea what our allocation will be like? I'd imagine a good 4,000 would go if we got that.
Ozwin Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Heard good things about Palace away so I quite fancy that.
maddog Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Every single fixture seems to look tough We would do amazing to equal last seasons efforts and make the top 6 again. Very tough first match. Looks like they are set to appoint Burley http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/crystal_palace/8745764.stm
LoughboroughFox Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Just me then? Palace away, PANTS!!! such an anti-climax IMO!!
Fosse Boy Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Just me then? Palace away, PANTS!!! such an anti-climax IMO!! How many better awaydays are there in this division?
LoughboroughFox Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 How many better awaydays are there in this division? LOTS!
Mikey Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Just me then? Palace away, PANTS!!! such an anti-climax IMO!! Got to be joking.
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 My opinion Nice first game. Cov, Forest, Derby = perfect home and away. ... Pompey, Mill away fall nicely aswell. Only ones im pissed about is Sheff U, Norwich, Leeds both home and away.
Tommeh Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Not too fussed about Leeds really being a Tuesday night really, hardly the greatest place to go and Uncle Ken charged us £30 in league 1, I'd imagine that price will only go up. Bristol City is another good 3pm game.
C-man Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Just booked Palace train tickets. £19.80 08.57 out , 19.25 return. Get on it.
Guest Bilo Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 7th August is absolutely getting booked off. A London away day on a Saturday to start off the season is simply too good to pass up. Disappointed by the Millwall away fixture and both Leeds fixtures though, Sheffield United's a bit of a letdown too but the main ones, Palace, QPR, Bristol and the local derbies are achievable. Good stuff.
Ilkeston_Fox Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Just booked Palace train tickets. £19.80 08.57 out , 19.25 return. Get on it. Forgive my ignorance, I don't normally do trains to games but I'm thinking of doing this one (especially for that price). Which station is it to Palace?
Guest Bilo Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Forgive my ignorance, I don't normally do trains to games but I'm thinking of doing this one (especially for that price). Which station is it to Palace? Thornton Heath is best mate. Go to St Pancras, take a small detour to Leicester Square , get to Victoria and take the connecting train. Around a ten minute walk from there.
