AaronH Posted 18 June 2010 Posted 18 June 2010 If Slovenia and England both win today, Slovenia will be the first team in the last 16
Fox You Forest Posted 18 June 2010 Posted 18 June 2010 Cracking goal, had far too much time to turn and pick his spot though.
StanSP Posted 18 June 2010 Posted 18 June 2010 Slovenia have settled and started the far stronger and the scorer had way too much time on his hands. Great hit though.
ScouseFox Posted 18 June 2010 Posted 18 June 2010 Brilliant defending at one end, clinical finish at the other. Slovenia very close to the last 16 now.
MC Prussian Posted 18 June 2010 Posted 18 June 2010 Ahahahahaha! First Donovan misses a clear-cut chance for the Americans, then Ljubijankic makes it 2-0 by beating the U.S. offside trap. Fantastic football, it's like table tennis.
Matt Posted 18 June 2010 Posted 18 June 2010 Don't wanna be too cocky just yet as obviously we still have to win tonight and then win again on Wednesday to top the group but a message to the Yanks, thanks for making an apperance at this years world cup, we'll give you that 'win' against us, come back next time.
Tilley Posted 18 June 2010 Posted 18 June 2010 We need to win tonight, Will leave the group looking like this: Slovenia 6 England 4 USA 1 Algeria 0 This means we win next week and the group is ours, although won't be easy at all.
Wycombe Fox Posted 18 June 2010 Posted 18 June 2010 We've got to win tonight and against Slovenia otherwise, if we finish second in the Group, our route to the Final would give us a quarter-final on Saturday 3rd July. I need to try and get a beach soccer team together for that day! I'll have no chance!
Trav Le Bleu Posted 18 June 2010 Posted 18 June 2010 Loved that goal, everyone waiting for the cross/pass... WAAAAAAAAAALLOOOOOOOOP!
dandannieldanok Posted 18 June 2010 Posted 18 June 2010 An on-form Rooney would make mincemeat of this Slovenia defence, they look very very shaky.
Northants Fox 3 Posted 18 June 2010 Posted 18 June 2010 Just watch the playback of the USA goal, love the commentry "don't know what the keeper was doing he was hiding".
Wycombe Fox Posted 18 June 2010 Posted 18 June 2010 This is the perfect result for us. ...and for beach soccer!
dandannieldanok Posted 18 June 2010 Posted 18 June 2010 This is the perfect result for us. Yep, although I'm extremely disappointed that the yanks have equalised, this is actually great for England. I would certainly fancy us to bag some goals against Slovenia, they can't cope with the pressure.
Northants Fox 3 Posted 18 June 2010 Posted 18 June 2010 should be 3-2 to US whats the ref blown for? Wish I knew I'm cluless as to what the problem was. Replay shows its the Sloveians doing all the fouling refs got that horribly wrong. <_< <_<
