Fosse Fox Posted 21 June 2010 Posted 21 June 2010 For the integrity of the tournament I sincerely hope that South Africa do not 'miraculously' qualify for phase two. But like all prognosticators I am addicted to the satisfaction of having my worst fears confirmed. PS Watch out for (a) shenanigans with the Mexico squad OR (b) simulation from one or more Mexico players (including a suicidal loss of self discipline) OR ( c) some distinctly dodgy officiating favouring Uruguay OR (d) an act of God favouring Uruguay OR (e) Mexico being thrown out of the tournament for a 'convincing' reason or withdrawing for same OR (f) er... You get the picture....
BoneDog Posted 21 June 2010 Posted 21 June 2010 I think it will most likely be ( c) the dodgy officiating favouring Uruguay.
Asha Posted 22 June 2010 Posted 22 June 2010 I always make the wrong choice when it comes to picking which of the games to watch. Will be watching the France game this afternoon. Bafana Bafana.
leicesterfox86 Posted 22 June 2010 Posted 22 June 2010 According to World Cup odds, France win this game. Even if odds have not been really trusty so far, I think that the side can win if Domenech changes his basic team. This is the team I'd like to see on South African field this afternoon: Lloris - Sagna, Squillaci, Planus, Abidal - A. Diarra, Diaby - Valbuena, Gourcuff, Malouda - Henry And Uruguay to win over Mexico.
StanSP Posted 22 June 2010 Posted 22 June 2010 This is how I'd like it to pan out: France 0-1 South Africa Mexico 1-1 Uruguay This is how I think it will France 1-0 South Africa Mexico 2-1 Uruguay
martyn Posted 22 June 2010 Posted 22 June 2010 Really hope Mexico win so they don't have to face Argentina in the last 16.
Narborough_fox Posted 22 June 2010 Posted 22 June 2010 Why has Matthew Booth not played in any of the matches for SA is he injured?
Narborough_fox Posted 22 June 2010 Posted 22 June 2010 Bafana Bafana Come On Mexico. RED CARD! Who's off?
Mikey Posted 22 June 2010 Posted 22 June 2010 Gourcuff off. Never a red. He's getting bullied tonight then.
MC Prussian Posted 22 June 2010 Posted 22 June 2010 Red against Gourcuff for elbowing. A bit of a joke, really.
Bugg Posted 22 June 2010 Posted 22 June 2010 Does Domenech just want to piss the whole French nation off?
BoneDog Posted 22 June 2010 Posted 22 June 2010 Absolute joke decision! And why was the guy on the floor for so long, he wasn't hurt was he? Hardly touched him.
BoneDog Posted 22 June 2010 Posted 22 June 2010 Oh dear oh dear France! Now we just wait for the dodgy penalty and sending off in the Mexico match.
