Trickyfox Posted 29 June 2010 Posted 29 June 2010 reading between the lines I think NP wanted out and MM knew this - no love lost there - defo down to money, and i think MM will not unsettle the club and plunge us into more debt just to make NP happy

Simple as that. Milan for the manager
Alexikokopops Posted 29 June 2010 Posted 29 June 2010 I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT WHAT'S HAPPENING BEHIND THE SCENES AT THE CLUB BUT I'M NOT GOING TO LET THAT STOP ME SPOUTING BULLSHIT WHEN I'VE GOT PURE CONJECTURE TO HELP ME
ibbosuk Posted 29 June 2010 Posted 29 June 2010 No matter how many times you say it, it's going in one ear and out the other with most people I'm afraid. This move is purely due to Pearson wanting security in the transfer market and security in his own personal wage, unfortunately because he's a god in many fans eyes that they need someone else to blame for this move. Mandaric's hands are pretty much tied, he offered Pearson a deal and Pearson refused it. There's nothing Mandaric can do. I don't like the bloke, but he shouldn't take flak for this episode. GOD! ..........You must be joking, I sold my season ticket because the football was dross at the time, I can still hear the boo's ringing round the walkers now, the football played by pearsons team WAS NOT enjoyable to watch!! Some people have very selective memories, I wont miss him one bit, let's get Sousa in, at least he plays a brand of football we can all enjoy.

MM has not been bad for the club, maybe not as great as we all hoped when he first arrived but who's to say it won't still happen? No point whatsoever in making him a scapegoat, especially as we don't know the real details.
Daggers Posted 29 June 2010 Posted 29 June 2010 God I'm bored of all of this already. Moronfest 2010 looks like it will live up to the tedious highs which 2008 achieved. Yea.

carterfox90 Posted 29 June 2010 Posted 29 June 2010 milan for once come out & tell us the true facts for this latest episode to happen to our beloved club & stop treating us like feckin mushrooms
demon_dog Posted 29 June 2010 Posted 29 June 2010 They are financially crippled by the new stand, they wanted a whole new stadium but couldn't afford it. They have had to release their top players like Moody and Mauger. False. The Tigers are in no way financially crippled by the new stand. In fact they are currently planning to redevelop the Crumbie stand. The Tigers top players are leaving due to the wage cap imposed on them by the RFU in this country. You will see most of them going to play in France due to there being no wage cap over there.

Sorry to go off topic. They won't do anything to the Crumbie until they can afford it. Operating losses of £829k reported. Players leaving to France....not a single player's gone France. Moody and Vesty to Bath Deacon to Gloucester Murphy to Munster Davies to Ospreys

The football was SHITE under Pearson, and I dont waste my money watching that crap, I am really REALLY glad here's gone. I just hope we appoint Sousa, I think would get us playing the right way, and I'm sure the results will follow. Never liked Pearson, especially when he dissed one of the nicest guys around, Ian Stringer. Very glad to see the back of that sour face Pearson...

Jimmy Posted 29 June 2010 Posted 29 June 2010 Yes, no goals, no memorable moments, nothing. he is right we were very rigid and organised and didn't often set up to go at other teams and tended to play on the counter attack
Corky Posted 29 June 2010 Posted 29 June 2010 he is right we were very rigid and organised and didn't often set up to go at other teams and tended to play on the counter attack I realise it wasn't pretty at times and we were rigid, but I wouldn't call it shite football.
i luv u foxes Posted 29 June 2010 Posted 29 June 2010 think all this criticism at mandaric is abit unfair blaming him about martin allen and some of you fans calling him a donut but if i remember right was he not 1 of the managers we DID all want at the time i think he was mandaric hired him and yes he wasted money but at the time was the likes of stephen clemence dj campbell seen to be very good signings yes they was. yes in alot of cases mandaric has made some mistakes but im sure he didnt get an instruction manual when he took over so instead of looking for somebody to blame lets get behind the club hope mandaric picks the right man for the job and keep the faith

CosbehFox Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 The football was SHITE under Pearson, and I dont waste my money watching that crap, Pearson... Sousa worse reading Swansea forums. Maybe passing football but it's not attacking. But yeh the football was poor under Pearson....first City team score five since Sunderland, scored four over QPR and Watford, three-nil walloping of Forest.
C-man Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 Shit football? We finished 5th. I couldn't give one if we raped our way up the league, football is about winning. Just certain posters being bitter bastards really. Oh and who let ibbosuk back on?
