Any success on the pitch is a bonus because we can all be pragmatic about the situation. This is not applicable to Mandaric. He swanned in with declarations of love for the club, us supporters and how he was going to issue in a period of success. He swanned in and cocked everything up from the off. His business accumen resulted in him wasting club money on Youtube foreigners while his management skills resulted in him beig unable to spot, employ and keep a succession of managers...wasting more club money. He doesn't get judged by local owner standards in my book - he gets judged on his false promises and ineptitude. I'm not after an open cheque book, all I want from him is aptitude todohe job and deliver on his undertakings. He's failed. Look at him now, trying to claim that he is attempting to get Pearson to stay when in reality he is negotiating the settlement from Hull. Ole' Milan Mendacious has been here too long. It's long gone time to piss off... Pretty much spot on. Im very concerned that MM and LH will now have to go and select another manager and MMs track record of doing that is absymol. Ill be throwing another £520 at the fookers on saturday morning just hope they make it worth my while.

We owe circa £15 to 20mill on the stadium and we've made losses in all 3 seasons he's been here with last years losses at £6mill give or take - it's easy to see where it could add up to those figures.

As I understand it we're never going to earn enough in the Championship to reduce the debt - originally it was stated that only a run of 10 years or so in the Premier League would ensure payment. I'm assuming with the richer rewards now available that could be reduced significantly however whilst we're owned by business men looking to make money, even if we did get promoted they would really see no reason to pay it off and thus reduce their own profits.

The Doctor Posted 28 June 2010 Posted 28 June 2010 For all those people wanting him gone, what is the alternative? no doubt they believe these rumours about the polish billionaire. tbh i don't see that he's done that much wrong - First season he back MA and it backfired completely, so he appoints a manager with a proven track record in megson - he shows complete and utter disloyalty and scarpers and the first oppurtunity having been out of work for 18 months prior to that so he appoints another manager, holloway, who had success at this level with plymouth given the budget he had to work with there. Milan backs him in the transfer market and holloway - although he signed some players who played a v. important part under Pearson - messed up on the tactical side of things (e.g. Midfield consisting of Fowards (Hume) & Defenders (Mattock, Kenton etc) but no midfielders) Something which milan has no control over. Given the money wasted by MA & IH that season he appoints pearson and backs him, but not with the substantial figures of the season before - understandable given the hit relegation caused along with the large output the previous season. Again last summer Milan back pearson but with slightly more than the summer before (reported 1.2 m on wellens & 1m on gallagher) and it leads again to success compared with recent seasons. If pearson was willing to stay then milan would most likely have backed him with similar amounts as last season but, IF you believe the reports, pearson wanted more to spend in the way of transfers. What choice does milan have there: Back his manager with more money and risk financial meltdown or Let the manager walk away and keep the club at it's current financial stability. Option 2 is always preferable, no one man is bigger than the club.

He has not only suspicions of tax fraud surrounding him, but if Pearson leaves this week as all signs suggest, Milan's will have cemented his reputation as a manager-killer. If I were a manager by trade and I or my agent received a phone call from LCFC, I wouldn't proceed with negotiations without exercising extreme caution. Is this job really worth the severance compensation I'd receive in six months or am I better off living off of my savings/compensation from "leaving by mutual consent" from my last job/getting odd part-time pundit jobs until a few other managers get sacked in October? Oh, and as for the 3-year-plan thing: I'm pretty sure the agreement that allowed Milan to buy the club (with a #900,000 "loan" he made to LCFC) paid the New Fox Plc investors 10 pence on the pound, with Milan paying an additional 40 pence/pound if Leicester went up within 3 years and the remaining half if Leicester avoided relegation from the Premiership that season. I guess Milan isn't the only one that would consider not meeting his "three-year plan" a failure, as he essentially made a long-term bet with his predecessors that LCFC would win promotion to the Premiership soon.

We know for sure at least two of the signings were not acts of Allen. Megson - clearly didn't think Mandaric was worthy of staying. Milan hasn't backed Pearson, every signing he's made is covered by the departure of another. Pearson wanted a reserves side to help the youngsters, not given. Then there's the loans which he's keep quiet on, the rising ticket prices and the VAT thing.

They have had to release their top players like Moody and Mauger.

Firstly it was more like £3m and I think it means he's insane rather than a legend for that. He's not paying out debts either, they are growing every year. The money he is putting in is in the form of loans, and he'll want it back!!

He was never allowed to manage his own team. As for going down the route of Crystal Palace, we are not too far away from that already. The problem here is MM has always liked to tinker, even in the Portsmouth days. When I go to the doctor and he/she prescribes antibiotics, i'm not going to say, no, I need paracetamol. My point is you brought in someone to do a job, so let them do it. As for the next manager > Give it to Milan.
