Jordan Posted 5 July 2010 Posted 5 July 2010 Out of all the conjecture amongst us about what's happened with LCFC and Paulo Sousa I can't see any scenario that didn't involve tampering. However, I don't expect any real complaining from Swansea City, as neither party involved in this managerial merry-go-round really gets hurt badly. I'm sure most of us would have preferred Pearson to stay, and before Sousa was linked to LCFC, I'd imagine most Swansea fans were satisfied with his overall performance despite their late-season collapse. But, when life gives you lemons... - Nigel Pearson faces a tough task in getting a relegated side to regroup, and he doesn't have much money to spend, but he's still managing a fairly big club for the 2nd tier and has, presumably, gotten himself a contract that pays him more than what he earned at Leicester. - Leicester City replace Pearson with a good manager in Sousa. - Sousa will work with a chairman with whom he is on good terms (though we'll see how long that lasts) - Swansea let Sousa go, and they either free themselves from having to pay compensation for Sousa or Milan will sneak them a couple hundred thousand pounds under the table. Also, from the names that are being linked to them, will get a decent new manager of their own (or at least someone besides Iain Dowie). - Milan has one less problem to worry about.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 5 July 2010 Posted 5 July 2010 Just found this. http://www.walesonline.co.uk/multimedia/sport/football/images/2010/07/05/paulo-sousa-the-suits-the-sweaters-and-the-tantrums-91466-26788570/ He certainly seems more animated than Pearson! Which is always a good thing.

ithuriel Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 We are sending him back, defective rubbish, we want a refund
Head Honcho Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 Sousa is a credible manager. Definitely the best option out there, and I'm happy we're [allegedly] getting him, especially considering the usual shower of shite we were linked with. Happy with Sousa. Happy now? Sorry KAJ not picking on you............................but there wasn't half some shite posted on here during July.
rabbid Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 Swansea fans split 50/50 about him, none of them will miss the football they played under him though. Rumours of board unrest with him and players not getting on with him. A pretty shocking transfer record all round... what could go wrong!!! Gets my support if it's him, who knows what might happen. I think an educated guess would have nailed this situation
Matt Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 Milan needs a slap. He needs to sort things out, tell people straight, and get out of our football club. Same old Matt! Yep same old me, Telling the truth, I think people are slowly coming to the same opinion as me. And I was being told I had a vendeta, was making up conspiracy theories again him and slagging Milan off too much in July
jamesmilner Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 just laughing at the clueless comments people made , some lcfc fans have alot of egg on their faces. he's just not right now or has ever been right for the club.
Edmund Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 If he comes and it all goes tits up, at least we can now boast that we have the best looking manager in the league We've got the best looking manager in the league :city:
