So where was Sousa over the weekend?

According to MM he was due to fly out of the country to talk to someone/his shortlist of 3 - 4 people, to discuss the vacancy.

Cloak & dagger stuff this, just for a change!!!

Crafty old bugger is MM. but I like him!!! :scarf:

Is Wales a country though?

It was reported that he was flying out of England, no mention of countries, principalities or backwaters:P

I imagine this is milan's attempt at not paying compensation as he hasn't started talking to de sous until after hr left Swansea and is a free agent. No wonder he got away with all his previous dodgy deals he's a crafty old sod. Hopefully he will work the same magic on the Thai investors and get them to put fifty million and get nothing back and the club will be quids in.

Could just be a marketing trick by MM to have a better chance of getting some new investors on board.

Imagine a boardroom meeting with Paolo Sousa present and Mandaric making the following statement:

And now I like to present you our new manager. His name is Paulo Sousa, he played for Benfica Lissabon, Juventus, Borussia Dortmund, as well as Inter Milan and won the World Cup with Portugal.

Now do the same and imagine we still had Nigel Pearson:

Meet Nigel - he's manager of the team. Nigel is 46 year old, has played for Shr... Shrewesbury, Sheffield Monday and Middelsbrough, won League One Title for Leicester City and is very nice guy.

You get my drift.

Guatemala '83. You remember, the mascot was a singing monkey....

That would be one of the more sensible WC mascots.
