Fox in a Box Posted 28 July 2010 Posted 28 July 2010 I thought that goal gaff against Derby (prideless park) was a Weale big clanger!
Clazie Posted 28 July 2010 Posted 28 July 2010 Oh dear, this is wealey getting out of hand now, isn't it...
andy_croydz Posted 28 July 2010 Posted 28 July 2010 Oh dear, this is wealey getting out of hand now, isn't it... Oh Weale you stop it
Spiritwalker Posted 28 July 2010 Posted 28 July 2010 I'll miss you Chris, but hopefully Weale meet again.
Unabomber Posted 28 July 2010 Posted 28 July 2010 I'll miss you Chris, but hopefully Weale meet again. Definitely the best of a bad bunch.
VampLCFC Posted 28 July 2010 Posted 28 July 2010 If West Ham wanted a back up for Rob Green, why not go for David James, oceans of Premier League experience and England number 1, can't see them coming after Weale, think they'd want an established Premier League goalkeeper

He wants to continue playing, which is why Celtic would be good for him as Boruc has just moved.

Yeah good point, and I suppose Chelsea signed that Ross Turnbull last summer, we were supposedly looking at him, suprised at the time that Chelsea went for him, so I guess Weale to West Ham is quite realistic

James would definitely not sit on the bench at the age of 39, he only has a few more years left and he doesn't want to waste it by rotting on the bench. He might aswell hang up his gloves now if he was going to be a bench warmer.

andy_croydz Posted 29 July 2010 Posted 29 July 2010 whats the crack with all the Alter Bridge stuff anyway mate? awful!! The best rock band around right now pal

andy_croydz Posted 29 July 2010 Posted 29 July 2010 I had a quick look on Wikipedia and noticed "Associated Acts: Creed...". That was enough for me! Listen to Blackbird by Alter Bridge all the way through and tell me they are awful
VampLCFC Posted 29 July 2010 Posted 29 July 2010 The best rock band around right now pal The best rock band around.... like Creed used to be you mean? Check out a band called 50 Lions
ronnup Posted 29 July 2010 Posted 29 July 2010 Listen to Blackbird by Alter Bridge all the way through and tell me they are awful I found that impossible. Horrible generic rock/metal
andy_croydz Posted 30 July 2010 Posted 30 July 2010 I found that impossible. Horrible generic rock/metal <_<
VampLCFC Posted 30 July 2010 Posted 30 July 2010 I doubt David James would just want to sit on the bench as backup. He wants to continue playing, which is why Celtic would be good for him as Boruc has just moved. David James signed for Bristol City, Sky Sports News
andy_croydz Posted 30 July 2010 Posted 30 July 2010 David James signed for Bristol City, Sky Sports News WTF! We should have signed him. Then again... He's probably on 20k a week and we have the super Weale still with us so it would have been a waste of money.
VampLCFC Posted 30 July 2010 Posted 30 July 2010 Celtic surely wouldve offered him a lot more money, so obviously wants to stay in England, Sunderland were apparent after him too, doesn't make a lot of sense, I'm sure he couldve signed for a Premiership team, Bristol City have got themselves a decent keeper there, England number 1 in fact!! Don't think they can afford massive wages

Don't think they can afford massive wages Whilst goalkeepers do play for longer, David James is 40 years old and to be England number 1 at the minute isn't particularly anything to write home about. He's a fair keeper but I wouldnt say he's any better than Weale.

Don't think they can afford massive wages I think because he lives in Exeter he wanted to be closer to home so he could be with his family every day and not up sticks and move to somewhere like Scotland or Sunderland. Bristol is a good move for him really, if he doesn't want to move his family and wants to play at a good level for a club not too far away then he has made the right move. I guess Plymouth would have been an even better move for him but they probably didn't want him.
VampLCFC Posted 30 July 2010 Posted 30 July 2010 WEALE FOR ENGLAND!!!! To be fair, I fully expect Joe Hart to be new England number 1
andy_croydz Posted 30 July 2010 Posted 30 July 2010 WEALE FOR ENGLAND!!!! To be fair, I fully expect Joe Hart to be new England number 1 As long as Joe's Hart is in it I think he will do Wealey well for England in the years to come
