Jimmy Posted 30 July 2010 Posted 30 July 2010 WEALE FOR ENGLAND!!!! To be fair, I fully expect Joe Hart to be new England number 1 I don't even expect him to play for Man City next season, apart from some token cup games
OutFoxing-Cov-Since1884 Posted 1 August 2010 Posted 1 August 2010 I know this hasn't been spoken about for a few days but after yesterdays showing (and apparently has been the case through pre-season) would Paul Smith at Forest on a free be worth a shout? Couldn't be any worse...
OutFoxing-Cov-Since1884 Posted 1 August 2010 Posted 1 August 2010 Joe Hart then, he wants to get first team football...
ousefox Posted 1 August 2010 Posted 1 August 2010 Paul Smith is awful and he's only left Forest as he doesn't want to be number 2.
Guest Posted 1 August 2010 Posted 1 August 2010 I know this hasn't been spoken about for a few days but after yesterdays showing (and apparently has been the case through pre-season) would Paul Smith at Forest on a free be worth a shout? Couldn't be any worse... Worse than who? Weale? Christ on a bike, you'd think one fcuk up in pre-season was the end of the world to some people
Bugg Posted 1 August 2010 Posted 1 August 2010 Joe Hart then, he wants to get first team football... Are you fooking stupid?
Unabomber Posted 1 August 2010 Posted 1 August 2010 I know this hasn't been spoken about for a few days but after yesterdays showing (and apparently has been the case through pre-season) would Paul Smith at Forest on a free be worth a shout? Couldn't be any worse... Possible moron Joe Hart then, he wants to get first team football... Confirmed moron
Corky Posted 2 August 2010 Posted 2 August 2010 I know this hasn't been spoken about for a few days but after yesterdays showing (and apparently has been the case through pre-season) would Paul Smith at Forest on a free be worth a shout? Couldn't be any worse... Is he any better though? In my opinion, no. Weale's had a tough pre-season no doubt it about it, but what's the point of throwing him away now? He can still do a job for us.
hackneyfox Posted 2 August 2010 Posted 2 August 2010 Weale isn't that good, I keep trying to tell you that. But then most of you loved the previous flapper.
Corky Posted 2 August 2010 Posted 2 August 2010 Weale isn't that good, I keep trying to tell you that. But then most of you loved the previous flapper. David Martin? I don't remember anyone loving him.
Dylan Posted 2 August 2010 Posted 2 August 2010 Weale was great for us for most of last season. Just seemed to look a little slacking towards the end of last season and in pre-season. But certainly should remain our No1
Clazie Posted 2 August 2010 Posted 2 August 2010 Has this still got any momentum? 'Cause it seems to have petered out in the past few days...
Jimmy2Drags Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 David Martin? I don't remember anyone loving him. I think he's talking about that useless Aussie we had...I tried to wipe that fumbling twat out of my mind. Worst city keeper EVER!
hackneyfox Posted 3 August 2010 Posted 3 August 2010 Exactly who I was talking about but as he saved a couple of penalties many on here fell in love with him. Generally the same one's that rated Kisnorbo as a centre half.

martyn Posted 11 August 2010 Posted 11 August 2010 Kisnorbo was a very decent centre half indeed. If he was able to distribute the ball he'd be an excellent player.
teblin Posted 11 August 2010 Posted 11 August 2010 and he's only left Forest as he doesn't want to be number 2. He is poor.
HonradaRaposa Posted 11 August 2010 Posted 11 August 2010 Kisnorbo was a very decent centre half indeed. If he was able to distribute the ball he'd be an excellent player. No he wasn't he was crap, worse than crap. He couldn't run, he was forever diving in as he was either late or the forward had beaten him with ease. The man could not even perform the simple things like kicking a ball. Without doubt one of the worst players ever to grace a Leicester City shirt. Why is it players like Hume, McAuley, Henderson and Kisnorbo are fondly remembered by people when they contributed massively in taking us to the third tier of the English game?

May I point out that our defensive record three seasons ago was one of the best in the entire Championship and that we went down because of a striking issue.
hackneyfox Posted 11 August 2010 Posted 11 August 2010 Because the bloody awful defenders couldn't distribute the ball to the midfield or attack.

I like you, you talk sense. Without doubt you have just named 4 of the players that I was so glad to see the back of. Hume was an absolute disgrace but everyone on here loved him at the time. He wasn't a striker, he wasn't a winger, he wasn't an attacking midfielder and if he was played in a position he didn't like he sulked and yet he was treated like the prodigal son in his first game against us. And THAT penalty
Bert Posted 11 August 2010 Posted 11 August 2010 I seem to remember us being in total control against wednesday until kisnorbo went off injured? Defenders not giving the ball to the forwards? Have a day off, it's their PRIMARY job to defend. And they did that very well. No way was it their fault we weren't scoring.
Bettsj2 Posted 11 August 2010 Posted 11 August 2010 I seem to remember us being in total control against wednesday until kisnorbo went off injured? Defenders not giving the ball to the forwards? Have a day off, it's their PRIMARY job to defend. And they did that very well. No way was it their fault we weren't scoring. I seem to remember us being total balls that season from back to front. Not one player in that season emerged with any credit whatsoever. Bert you are correct that it was their primary job to defend, but there were so many occasions in that season where all we had to do was keep hold of the ball to defend a lead or gain a point and the defence hoofed it aimlessly either upfield or out of play, hence inviting pressure and inevitably we conceded and then went down. Never has a statistic been so misused as the defensive record of the relegation season. We went down for christ sake.
hackneyfox Posted 11 August 2010 Posted 11 August 2010 If a defender can't pass a ball to a midfielder for them to pass it to the attack then how would you like the attackers to get the ball. Goalie to hoof? Attackers to fall back to pick up the ball? A team is one team not three completely separate departments.
