NewNuneatonfox Posted 5 August 2010 Posted 5 August 2010 I don't think he'll come to Leicester because he's already linked to move to Forest!
Wdywd Posted 5 August 2010 Posted 5 August 2010 I can't believe us signing Marlon Harewood is even a serious suggestion. He has had one good season in his entire career. How he keeps getting clubs is completely beyond me. Genuinely one of the worst players I have ever seen, and we have had some shockers. We better not fooking sign him,
stivesfox Posted 5 August 2010 Posted 5 August 2010 fook Harewood might mean now the Thai boys on there way we can spend and buy some quality, think the days of searching shit and bargain basement players could be of the past
Jon25747 Posted 6 August 2010 Posted 6 August 2010 The days of over optimism seem to be still around though! Harewood would be good at this level as was proven by his spell at newcastle last season but I cant see him here to be honest.
Leicfox Posted 7 August 2010 Posted 7 August 2010 Harewood playing for Blackpool against Hibs on Sunday in a friendly at Bloomfield Rd.
Richard Posted 7 August 2010 Posted 7 August 2010 Harewood playing for Blackpool against Hibs on Sunday in a friendly at Bloomfield Rd. Sad thing for them is that is actually a decent signing.
Marmite Posted 7 August 2010 Posted 7 August 2010 Sad thing for them is that is actually a decent signing. They really are desperate for a striker !
andy_croydz Posted 7 August 2010 Posted 7 August 2010 He lives in Desford? I'm surprised at that, I know he used to play for Forest and Villa but Desford is a bit of an obscure place, it's pretty nice but i'd expect Harewood to live somewhere else.
orangecity23 Posted 7 August 2010 Posted 7 August 2010 Marlon Harewood is clearly a huge fan of the Tropical Bird Garden. Toucans are what he looks for in a good home town. Fair play to him.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 8 August 2010 Posted 8 August 2010 Disappointed he's a Dissarano man and not a Bombay Sapphire guy. I don't think we should buy him because of that. Liquid battenburg.
haraven Posted 8 August 2010 Posted 8 August 2010 Comparing HareWood with Heskey is blasphemy. Heskey is a LCFC legend, and should be taken home strolling to Walkers on a red carpet.
LEICESTERMAD Posted 11 August 2010 Posted 11 August 2010 Heskey! Heskey! Heskey! Please. Heskey is very slow player if he struggles in the premiership he won't be able to handel the championship, already heard that Wolves are eyeing up £4million bid for him. Any chance of Jon Stead?
Liamlcfc1 Posted 11 August 2010 Posted 11 August 2010 http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12875_6306627,00.html Going to Orange Army
Ozwin Posted 11 August 2010 Posted 11 August 2010 Heskey is very slow player if he struggles in the premiership he won't be able to handel the championship, already heard that Wolves are eyeing up £4million bid for him. Any chance of Jon Stead? You do realise the Prem is above the Championship in terms of difficulty right?
Leicfox Posted 14 August 2010 Posted 14 August 2010 Good signing already for Pool. 2 goals so far on debut. Holloway knew.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 15 August 2010 Posted 15 August 2010 Have to say, Holloway should have been given longer here. Now we are paying for it. Not a change of view either, as I always felt angry we dumped him. Well done Ian.
Ozwin Posted 15 August 2010 Posted 15 August 2010 Why are we paying for it? Nigel Pearson took got rid of all the deadwood and transformed us into a top 6 side. Holloway wouldn't have done that, we'd still have Bruno N'Gotty in the heart of defence if he was still around ffs.
lildave3 Posted 15 August 2010 Posted 15 August 2010 Why are we paying for it? Nigel Pearson took got rid of all the deadwood and transformed us into a top 6 side. Holloway wouldn't have done that, we'd still have Bruno N'Gotty in the centre of midfield with Darren Kenton and James Chambers if he was still around ffs. Changed
Leicester_Loyal Posted 16 August 2010 Posted 16 August 2010 Have to say, Holloway should have been given longer here. Now we are paying for it. Not a change of view either, as I always felt angry we dumped him. Well done Ian. Nah, Holloway was rubbish for us, With him we might have never got out of league 1. We'd have probably sacked him after a few games, because they were probably going to be losses.
Ozwin Posted 16 August 2010 Posted 16 August 2010 fook me, Darren Kenton. He's playing in the US now isn't he? Absolute jammy bastard.
