Edmund Posted 25 August 2010 Posted 25 August 2010 Tonight should be a cracking match with Spurs having to win. I wouldn't dismiss YB they played some decent stuff on the counter in the last game.

I'm gonna go for 3-2 to Spurs. White Hart Lane should be rocking tonight. Penalties to decide who goes through I think.

lildave3 Posted 25 August 2010 Posted 25 August 2010 Crouch! This is far from over though, i'm ready for goals.
dandannieldanok Posted 25 August 2010 Posted 25 August 2010 Nicely done Peter. Exactly what everyone was expecting from Spurs, lightning quick start.
Stand UP... Posted 25 August 2010 Posted 25 August 2010 Young boys have great support, something which seems to be what the Fosse Boys are doing.
lildave3 Posted 25 August 2010 Posted 25 August 2010 Stunning finish, who cares about the handball Looking good now.
Mee Posted 25 August 2010 Posted 25 August 2010 Good first half performance. Great pass by Huddlestone with the outside of his foot half way through. Great finish by Defoe, who cares about the handball . 5-0 Spurs i say.
dandannieldanok Posted 25 August 2010 Posted 25 August 2010 I see Capello's there........surely he must pick Crouch for his next squad, especially if you're going to insist on including douches like Carlton Cole. EDIT: Just as I post this Crouchy bags again.
ScouseFox Posted 25 August 2010 Posted 25 August 2010 3-0, good header from Crouch, although he wasn't exactly being closely marked.
MC Prussian Posted 25 August 2010 Author Posted 25 August 2010 Shame Young Boys only woke up after being 2-0 down. Too much respect for the London outfit and they paid dearly. Still, all in all, the better team has gone through. There simply was no recipe against Crouch today. I expect Switzerland to get a fair amount of UEFA coefficient points this season and am looking forward to seeing Berne in the Europa League.
Jackirius Posted 25 August 2010 Posted 25 August 2010 I think YB are missing out on a Talented Left Back...
dandannieldanok Posted 25 August 2010 Posted 25 August 2010 Pleased for Spurs, don't like Redknapp but I like their brand of football and hopefully they'll continue to play with such tempo and industry in the group stages, will be a breath of fresh air compared to some of the dull European teams about. Looked a great atmosphere too.
