MC Prussian Posted 17 August 2010 Author Posted 17 August 2010 Young Boys taking the piss out of the Yids. 3-0 Great goal, great game, great support by the local side.
MC Prussian Posted 17 August 2010 Author Posted 17 August 2010 Tottenham defense having an extreme nightmare - Dawson in particular.
Fox You Forest Posted 17 August 2010 Posted 17 August 2010 ...and people thought we had problems at the back.
goose2010 Posted 17 August 2010 Posted 17 August 2010 line of the night has to be 'young boys very rarely keep clean sheets'
MC Prussian Posted 17 August 2010 Author Posted 17 August 2010 Young Boys Berne have been crap in the domestic league so far - but for some strange reason, they've been able to tighten the screws on the European stage. Quality atmosphere from the YB fans' side, and the Spurs supporters can't believe they ever touched Swiss soil.
C-man Posted 17 August 2010 Posted 17 August 2010 As much as I wanted Spurs to win, I'm enjoying the football YB are playing. Very tidy. Pacey and slick.
Bert Posted 17 August 2010 Posted 17 August 2010 Redknapp has only himself to blame, by looking at the team he put out he's majorly underestimated YBB here, this is nowhere near their full strength squad and in a game like this, the full strength squad must be played imo. Big goal for Spurs there, perfect time to come.
Stadt Posted 17 August 2010 Posted 17 August 2010 YBB played some good football Ekotou(spelling)and Bassong have made mistakes. Dawson is massively overrated and the Young boys fans are quality.
MC Prussian Posted 17 August 2010 Author Posted 17 August 2010 FC Basle fans will be jealous as hell - haven't managed to beat an English side in an European competition ever, and here comes the often belittled league opponent YB Berne and manages to lead Tottenham 3-1 by half-time. HOPP YB!
Mee Posted 17 August 2010 Posted 17 August 2010 Good game at the moment, poor defending by Spurs. Young Boys look tidy and organised, plus their fans are amazing. Look really good. Can see Spurs coming back to win this 4-3, hopefully i'm wrong.
BoneDog Posted 17 August 2010 Posted 17 August 2010 That was a beautiful first half. Hopefully Spurs don't get another goal back and YB score another 1 or 2.
Corky Posted 17 August 2010 Posted 17 August 2010 Great first half from Young Boys, three clinical finishes.
Fox You Forest Posted 17 August 2010 Posted 17 August 2010 Cracking finish, he's been useless all night too.
Guest Bilo Posted 17 August 2010 Posted 17 August 2010 Have a funny feeling Spurs will do this now. Two away goals with the second leg at White Hart Lane isn't a bad position to be in.
MC Prussian Posted 17 August 2010 Author Posted 17 August 2010 Young Boys have no one else to blame but themselves - Schneuwly had two great chances to make it 4-1, but failed. Great goal by Pavlyuchenko. Smashed it in and caught Woelfli on the goalkeeper's side.
