BoneDog Posted 13 April 2011 Posted 13 April 2011 It does look a bit weird actually, lower to the ground than usual.
BoneDog Posted 13 April 2011 Posted 13 April 2011 Oh dear, that's definitely that then. Nightmare for Gomez.
lcfcsnow Posted 13 April 2011 Posted 13 April 2011 And people on here moan about Weale! Ronaldo... Sean Scannel.
StanSP Posted 13 April 2011 Posted 13 April 2011 Let the nightmares begin again for Gomes! At least it's not a crucial goal i.e. as opposed to a solitary goal that will take them out of the tournament. Definitely looking forward to Barca vs Madrid in 2 of 4 Classicos later this month!
Jimothy Posted 13 April 2011 Posted 13 April 2011 Ronaldo... Sean Scannel. The ball was in his hands. I don't care who's kicking it, it's literally straight into his hands, and he got himself there, in position and actually had it in his hands and he still let it in. No excuses. he can't even claim to be taken by surprise, he actually half makes the save and still fucks it up.
Guest Bilo Posted 13 April 2011 Posted 13 April 2011 A Clásico would have been better have as the final in my humble opinion, but the prospect of it as a two-legged semi-final is still mouthwatering. I have to say that my money is on Barcelona to progress to the final as well. They've just been on a whole different level to Real all season, and the negative football Mourinho used with Inter last season in the semi-final is unlikely to be employed again as this is likely to be their only stab at a trophy with La Liga all but gone. If they play an open game against Barcelona, they could get battered as the 5-0 pasting dished out earlier this season testifies. Man United should really come through against Schalke with a routine win. The thought of an English team playing at Wembley in the CL Final is a tasty one but if/when this is confirmed I'm going to be a massive killjoy and predict a repeat of the 2009 Final. Comfortable Barcelona win again. Fact is, they're just too good.

Comfortable Barcelona win again. Fact is, they're just too good. They're playing each other in the Copa Del Rey final and I honestly believe that Madrid will win that one. I also reckon they'll win their home leg of the semi. Obviously I'd want Barcelona to win all 4 matches but can't see that happening! Another 5-0 win in either leg too would be sweet And as for the final, if Barcelona progress I'd love for them to meet Man Utd in the final and win again. Although Schalke reaching the final would be good for the competition. Someone different I suppose!
Samilktray Posted 13 April 2011 Posted 13 April 2011 I dont think I can bare anymore of the Barca arse licking, I'm praying Real put them out.
shen Posted 13 April 2011 Posted 13 April 2011 Imagine Raul against Real Madrid in the final....Or even Ronaldo against Man Utd
Soar Fox Posted 13 April 2011 Posted 13 April 2011 I dont think I can bare anymore of the Barca arse licking, I'm praying Real put them out. Same here. Would be great to see mourinho running across the Nou Camp after putting Barca out 2 years in a row.
Haydos Posted 13 April 2011 Posted 13 April 2011 And people on here moan about Weale! At least Gomes touched the ball
Jimothy Posted 14 April 2011 Posted 14 April 2011 At least Gomes touched the ball that makes it even worse. At least Weale can say he was unsighted or the ball swerved or he was taken by surprise. They might not be true but could be, and could be the reason he completely missed the ball. Gomes has non of these excuses, he saw it all the way and virtually caught it and still let it in. Shocking keeping.
AjcW Posted 14 April 2011 Posted 14 April 2011 Not sure I can cope with four in one month! Everyone knows what mourinho is capable of and even though he seems to be completely disinterested in Real at the moment the team are still playing for him more than they have done any other manager in recent years. Id imagine they have excepted the league is Barcas for another year and that Barca will probably throw all they've got into the cup as well. But over two legs and after the embarrassment barca dealt them last time, Real are going to be seriously hungry for the CL and that worries me. I think Barca will win the home leg but may just struggle to find another killer goal at Madrid and end up letting them back in in the process. Whatever happens though it's sure to be an incredible couple of weeks starting Saturday!
