Edmund Posted 25 August 2010 Posted 25 August 2010 Great match. As much I ****ing hate Spurs it will be interesting to see how they fare in the CL.
Corky Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 Spurs are in pot three, they're going to get a tough group with two big sides.
lildave3 Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 Spurs with Inter and Werder Bremen. I reckon they can through that.
isaidno Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 Group G looking good. Real Madrid , AC Milan & Ajax
Corky Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 Exciting group for Spurs. But blimey, get a move on with the draw.
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 Competitive groups. Ac, Madird, Ajax looks tasty. As does Spurs, Werder, Inter. Arsenal should win theres, however Braga will be the suprise package I think. Man U v Rangers - There'll be trouble there.
isaidno Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 Man Utd , Chelsea , and Arsenal should easily progress. Tottenham have a tough draw. Barcelona have a easy group. Loving group G
sdb Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 Tough group for Spurs, not sure they'll progress. Good groups for the other 3 English teams. Striker of the year was regarding last years CL basically, so Milito is the logical choice.
lildave3 Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 Milito better than Rooney and Messi? Farce. These awards are always nonsense, just go to the player that plays for the team that won it last year.
Fox You Forest Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 Depends how much damage Rafa can do to Inter before they play, I think they can scrape through that group.
sdb Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 Rafa's a bit of a demon in the CL though. I'd expect league form to drop if anything (not that they'll win the CL this year).
dandannieldanok Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United have all landed plum groups, couldn't really have gone much better for them. Tottenham on their day are good enough to get through, away frailties such as last week might cost them though.
Edmund Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 Group G looking good. Real Madrid , AC Milan & Ajax Competitive groups. Ac, Madird, Ajax looks tasty. Group G looks a cracker. Group G is hardly competitve. AC Milan and Madrid will walk it. I don't understand the Ajax wankfest. Ajax shouldn't even be uttered in the same breath as Madrid or Milan. Their a poor team in comparison.

Edmund Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 Old european rivalries from the 70s/80s being renewed. In that sense I agree.
StanSP Posted 26 August 2010 Posted 26 August 2010 I can't remember how (in)correct I was last season, but I'll do it again - teams in bold are who I think will qualify. Group A Inter Milan, Werder Bremen, Tottenham, FC Twente Group B Lyon, Benfica, Schalke, Hapoel Tel-Aviv Group C Manchester United, Valencia, Rangers, Bursaspor Group D Barcelona, Panathinaikos, FC Copenhagen, Rubin Kazan Group E Bayern Munich, AS Roma, Basel, CFR Cluj Group F Chelsea, Marseille, Spartak Moscow, Zilina Group G AC Milan, Real Madrid, Ajax, Auxerre Group H Arsenal, Shakhtar Donetsk, Braga, Partizan Belgrade Obviously most cases it's 1st and 2nd seed who I think will qualify. Rubin Kazan could be the surprise package if last season is anything to go by.
Dickie Greenleaf Posted 27 August 2010 Posted 27 August 2010 Good old Jemoan Defoe. lololol hahaha yeah good old Defoe Its ok when he cheats isnt it? We can all have a good knees up.
Fox You Forest Posted 27 August 2010 Posted 27 August 2010 lololol hahaha yeah good old Defoe Its ok when he cheats isnt it? We can all have a good knees up. Er, what? I was mocking the pronunciation of his name by the commentator.
ScouseFox Posted 15 September 2010 Posted 15 September 2010 Arsenal and Chelsea both 3-0 up after 30 mins...
StanSP Posted 15 September 2010 Posted 15 September 2010 Arsenal are playing some gorgeous football. Arshavin is sloppy though. Given the ball away numerous times but took his chance well. Wilshere is brilliant tonight.
C-man Posted 15 September 2010 Posted 15 September 2010 Watching Real tonight. Don't often watch them and haven't since Jose took charge. Ronaldo looks gash. Oezil's the boy.
