Edmund Posted 29 December 2010 Author Posted 29 December 2010 Shame the Forest Derby match isn't being televised. Already 2-1 in the first half.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 29 December 2010 Posted 29 December 2010 I knew Derby would lose today, will be there 5th in a row I think. Never thought they were that good, dropping like a stone now.
Edmund Posted 29 December 2010 Author Posted 29 December 2010 Manchester City look set to allow Michael Johnson to move to Leeds United on loan in a bid to rebuild his career. The midfielder is currently battling back from a serious knee injury that has kept him out of action for two years. Johnson hopes to be fit within a month but City boss Roberto Mancini does not want to rush his return to the Eastlands team. Johnson is way down the pecking order in City's star-studded midfield and the club will let him move to Elland Road in January in a loan move until the end of the season. Leeds have reassured City that they will not ask too much of Johnson when he returns but Simon Grayson has assured Mancini that the 22-year-old will have a part to play in their promotion push. Looks like he's off to Leeds. Pretty sure we were linked with him.
Edmund Posted 29 December 2010 Author Posted 29 December 2010 5-2 now. 4 out of the five goals scored by ex Derby
ScouseFox Posted 29 December 2010 Posted 29 December 2010 Great result for Forest, sounds like a great game aswell. Bloody Cardiff signing Vaughan, where's he gonna play with Bothroyd, Chorpa, Bellamy etc! Two sackings had been coming for a while to be honest.
Corky Posted 29 December 2010 Posted 29 December 2010 Now Derby fans know what it feels like to be thrashed at the City Ground. Not surprised by the two sackings either.
RedHux Posted 30 December 2010 Posted 30 December 2010 2010 unbeaten at the City ground. Good good stuff.
LCFC-Sam Posted 30 December 2010 Posted 30 December 2010 2010 unbeaten at the City ground. Good good stuff. Forgetting Blackpool?
Stevosevic Posted 30 December 2010 Posted 30 December 2010 2010 unbeaten at the City ground. Good good stuff. Impressive. Looks like we are trying to emulate Forest's record, unbeatable at home but hopeless away.
Stevosevic Posted 30 December 2010 Posted 30 December 2010 Micky has been offered the Sheff Utd job this morning (BBC). Good luck to him, harshly forced out of here and did a good job for us with limited resources.
Corky Posted 30 December 2010 Posted 30 December 2010 2010 unbeaten at the City ground. Good good stuff. 100% record from visits to the Walkers in 2010 as well. Fair play
FoxyPV Posted 30 December 2010 Posted 30 December 2010 How can Cardiff afford to buy players? Are they not in serious financial difficulties?
Father Ted Posted 30 December 2010 Posted 30 December 2010 Looks like Micky Adams is going to take over at Sheff Utd. My favourite manager since MON for us. Worked wonders here and should never have been sacked. No doubt he will get Sheff Utd promoted. Good luck Micky!
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 30 December 2010 Posted 30 December 2010 Its really Micky Adams' last chance now, he wont get any where bigger than Sheff Utd. Always thought he is a good manager he just lost his way a bit. Hope he does well there.
Corky Posted 30 December 2010 Posted 30 December 2010 I thought Adams resigned from us? He's a decent manager and will do well at Sheffield United.
sdb Posted 30 December 2010 Posted 30 December 2010 I think it was right for Adam's to leave us when he did, we were sliding. He's done little of note since to suggest it was a mistake for this club. Our mistake was failing to replace him with someone better. Don't see him getting Sheff Utd up, but he'll do ok imo.
MikeyT Posted 30 December 2010 Posted 30 December 2010 From SSN: Micky Adams has left Port Vale to sign a two-and-a-half year contract to become Sheffield United's new manager. The lifelong Blades fan had been a leading contender to take charge at Bramall Lane ever since Gary Speed stepped down earlier this month to become Wales coach. Doncaster Rovers boss Sean O'Driscoll and Brentford manager Andy Scott had also been candidates for the position, but Adams has now been confirmed in the role. He leaves Vale after 18 months with the League Two club and he becomes the third Blades boss of the season after Kevin Blackwell was replaced by Speed in the early weeks of the campaig
Chairman of the Bored Posted 30 December 2010 Posted 30 December 2010 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/s/sheff_utd/9327422.stm Isn't he a Blades "fan"?
MikeyT Posted 30 December 2010 Posted 30 December 2010 There's alread some stuff on this in The Championship thread mate.
Brainy Posted 30 December 2010 Posted 30 December 2010 That looks photoshopped. Disappointed for Port Vale, hopefully doesnt stop their revival of late
