Clear penalty and sending off for Vidic...

Another MASSIVE decision going for United

Vidic

Superb.

Shocking from the linesman though. How on earth can he miss that!?!?

In all fairness, nobody realised until they saw a replay. Neither commentator, only RvP on the whole pitch appealed, I thought it was a superb goal saving header.

Yeah but nobody has a better view than him, it's perfect. If he can't see that from where he is, he can't see any handball, any contentious goal line decision, etc. So what's the point in him being there?

Like another two MASSIVE decisions going for Chelsea yesterday?

The same way the linesmen missed the ball that didn't cross the line and the offside at Chelsea yesterday.

Which were both wrong yes... But so was Chelsea's penalty shout which wasn't given.

This was a much CLEARER decision, which would've inevitably led to a red card too- meaning Vidic would be out for the rest of the season.

I wasn't commenting that the one yesterday wasn't bad, just that that today was shockingly bad. I wasn't watching live yesterday and kinda missed the whole thing on that, I think everything that can be said about has been said.

Matt, you can't deny that Arsenal were hard done by just then, regardless of your hatred and regardless of what happened yesterday.

Totally agree, it was a much clearer call. The linesman yesterday must have thought it crossed the line from what he say and gave the goal. Today, I can't see how he can't see the handball, his hand is above his head, no obstructed view, no reason he can't see it. There is a reason he hasn't given it, and only he knows why.

Arguable. At first glace I didn't think Vidic even touched it let alone, headed/handball, it was only on a replay it became clear to me. As had already been said there was no big appeals apart from RVP, the commentators weren't sure until they saw a replay, Anyway I doubt Arsene Wenger even saw it either.

What argument does this bring up again? The introduction of replays. (Although really would only like to see this in goal line decisions as it will become a farce and be start/stop)

Until something is done, officials will continue to make wrong decisions.

However in support of the linesman what I will say is the linesman yesterday could not have been sure it crossed the line, if he had doubt he shouldn't have gave it, all I can say is the linesman today wasn't sure - he didn't give it.

I do like it when Matt tried to defend the indefensible.

He's just like the man he despises. He is so biased, so rose tinted that he will defend anything that goes against Arsenal, no matter what. Just like as Wenger defends Arsenal.

Maybe that's why he seems to have a pathalogical hatred for Wenger, because they're so alike.

Pathetic Matt, just pathetic. I swear you hate Arsenal/Wenger more than you support Leicester by the way you bang on and on here.

They were.

What gets me is according to some people Man Utd are the only team that get the luck, which in some people's eyes is the truth, hardly any discussion has been made on here on the Chelsea farce, If that was United, they'd be a huge discussion on here.

How can you give a corner and not the penalty dunno.gif It was way too high for him to reach it with his head, and why was his arm up so high?

Unarguably unless you're a biased Arsenal hater.

What I didn't understand is that a corner was given, so the officials must've known Vidic touched the ball.

Nice finish. Still think their is more goals still to come.

A goal for Arsenal...From an Englishman? :sweating::o

I must be dreaming.

Well Done Arsenal.

He's Welsh.

Reckon late united goal .. Rooney.

Probably a late penalty. Eboue's on, that always spells trouble for Arsenal.
