Fox92 Posted 9 May 2011 Posted 9 May 2011 Schwarzer 0-3. Only 16 minutes gone. Thought it was Weale for a second.
accessory Posted 9 May 2011 Posted 9 May 2011 Arsenal showed their soft side at Stoke, who won without incident. Wilshere and Song made a few tasty challenges yesterday, of the type Wenger would squeal about for weeks if they'd been on Arsenal players.
StanSP Posted 9 May 2011 Posted 9 May 2011 Liverpool are the 5th team to score 3+ gls in the first 16 mins of a PL away game after Arsenal (x4), Leicester, M City & Pompey. Rare. That game vs Derby
Corky Posted 9 May 2011 Posted 9 May 2011 Wilshere and Song made a few tasty challenges yesterday, of the type Wenger would squeal about for weeks if they'd been on Arsenal players. Absolutely, the problem was that Stoke beat them at football yesterday.
Jimothy Posted 9 May 2011 Posted 9 May 2011 0-3! Kuyt. Shit goalkeeping. Suarez should've had a penalty as well. Kuyt's got 9 in 8!!!!
ScouseFox Posted 9 May 2011 Posted 9 May 2011 Can't wait for the Liverpool fans proclaiming "this is our year to make it 19" throughout the summer.
ScouseFox Posted 9 May 2011 Posted 9 May 2011 Maxi with a second hat trick in a few weeks. 7 goals in 3 games. King Kenny has turned them around, for sure.
Fox92 Posted 9 May 2011 Posted 9 May 2011 Might just put that goal in the 'favourite goals' thread. Hat trick again.
ScouseFox Posted 9 May 2011 Posted 9 May 2011 He was 4 in 40 odd about two weeks ago and nobody in Liverpool understood why he was anywhere near the team. Shows what good form can do to you, he's loved now. All his goals seem to come from about 4 yards out, as well. Must've seen this He's got one hell of a catchy song, as well.
ScouseFox Posted 9 May 2011 Posted 9 May 2011 1-5, Suarez. Liverpool will be a force next year, if everyone's fit. Suarez, Gerrard, Kuyt, Carroll & Maxi (if he remains on form). Top 4 will be interesting.

Top 4 will be interesting. Hopefully. I know you live in Liverpool so you might not like them, just like I don't like Sheffield Wednesday because they are just down the road, but I really hope Liverpool win the Premier League. As a football club I do like Liverpool (and Everton), and I like the City as well. The area produces alot of talent, the best. Plus Gerrard has stayed loyal to the club when he could have easily left for trophies with a club such as Real Madrid or Chelsea. Carragher's a legend too. And I hate Man United.
sdb Posted 9 May 2011 Posted 9 May 2011 They're playing without pressure now. They'll fight for a top 4 spot but won't win the league. Gerrard's past his best too, and I can't see Maxi keeping this up.

I don't really hate any of the top 4. I admire them as football teams, just think it's funny when they're plastic fans get pissed off when, let's say, Liverpool lose to Blackpool. I've got a lot of mates who are proper Liverpool fans (up and on coaches/trains at 5/5:30am to go to Sunderland/West Ham etc. because it's been moved by Sky), and I'd love Liverpool to do well for their proper fans. But it is pretty funny when bigger teams lose to so called "lesser" clubs. Next season, I'd just like the title race to be interesting. It'd be brilliant for United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Man City to all have realistic title ambitions, and to challenge each other up until the last few weeks. Probably won't happen, but still, that'd be great. With regards to the game, cracker from Sidwell. 2-5.

They have got good support, not sure how many of them would be scouse, but, for example, today is a game on a school night in London, and they have filled it. That journey from Liverpool to London is a long time. Anyway, wonder what odds were for 2-5, as it currently stands.
Fox92 Posted 9 May 2011 Posted 9 May 2011 Liverpool 4 points off of 4th now. Really unbelievable compared to their start this season.
ScouseFox Posted 9 May 2011 Posted 9 May 2011 Table since Kenny came back. Next season should be interesting then.
MC Prussian Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 As it stands, we're looking at playing Blackpool, Wigan and West Ham in the league next season. I'd love to see the first two getting relegated, not so sure about West Ham (doing a Newcastle next season?).
FoxyPV Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 I think West Ham will go to pieces when they get relegated as G+S have already said that they will sell as many people as possible to try and balance the books. My brother supports West Ham so I'd love them to come down.
NGoloMode Posted 10 May 2011 Posted 10 May 2011 West Ham are in trouble if they go down. They have some players on pretty high wages for the Championship. They'd sell most of there first team which Newcastle didn't do.
