Mee Posted 1 May 2011 Posted 1 May 2011 Owen's was a penalty. Scraped right down the back of his leg.
ScouseFox Posted 1 May 2011 Posted 1 May 2011 Two definite penalties, neither given. Pretty boring apart from that and the goal.
sdb Posted 1 May 2011 Posted 1 May 2011 No preference between the two sides but Ramsey and Song should've accumulated about 6 bookings between them. The number of niggly fouls/handballs was crazy. Obviously Vidic should've gone too.
ScouseFox Posted 1 May 2011 Posted 1 May 2011 I'd much prefer united to win the league than Arsenal or Chelsea.
Wymsey Posted 1 May 2011 Posted 1 May 2011 That's surely it for West Ham. Early in the game but I just can't see them coming back.
MikeyT Posted 1 May 2011 Posted 1 May 2011 Zabaleta with City's second. 2-0. Two random goal scorers.
Jimothy Posted 1 May 2011 Posted 1 May 2011 2-0 I'd give that to Zabaleta, looked to be sneaking in at the far post, but Sky are giving it as a Jacobson OG.
Mee Posted 1 May 2011 Posted 1 May 2011 Inevitable goal there. Good strike for the first goal though.
Wymsey Posted 1 May 2011 Posted 1 May 2011 Daily Mail claim he had yet another bust up with a team mate during training...I dislike him as well as J.Barton.
FoxyPV Posted 1 May 2011 Posted 1 May 2011 I'd much prefer united to win the league than Arsenal or Chelsea.
Jimothy Posted 1 May 2011 Posted 1 May 2011 What the hell is Steven Ward's position for Wolves? I thought he was a left back, but he started up front today.
ScouseFox Posted 1 May 2011 Posted 1 May 2011 What the hell is Steven Ward's position for Wolves? I thought he was a left back, but he started up front today. Utility man. Like a left footed Paul Scharner.
davieG Posted 3 May 2011 Posted 3 May 2011 Source Tuesday 3 May 2011 by Spacey Man United set to recall Howard Webb for crucial Chelsea clash Manchester United are rumoured to be considering the recall of referee Howard Webb to their starting twelve for the crucial Premier League title clash against closest rivals Chelsea. The club are considering the change after referee Chris Foy failed to award the league leaders a penalty for something or other in Sunday's game against Arsenal. "We'll be looking at dropping Chris Foy for the Chelsea game," revealed Man United boss Sir Alex Ferguson. "He did well to ignore Nemanja Vidic's handball, but his failure to award us a controversial penalty in the 15th minute of stoppage time has cost us dear, but that's something we can work on in training." "In the really big games you need a referee that can keep a cool head and reduce the opposing team to 10 men for the most innocuous of challenges, and there's no-one better at that than Webby." Webb set for Man Utd recall The Champions League finalists' talismanic referee has revealed he will be ready to perform whenever he's called upon. Webb told reporters, "Obviously it's down to the gaffer, but I'll keep my head down and try my hardest and hopefully he'll give me the nod." "If I do get the shirt for the game then one thing I can promise Man United fans is that I'll give 100%." "That and a penalty in the 95th minute."
MikeyT Posted 7 May 2011 Posted 7 May 2011 Super run from Lennon there and then a cracking ball to Van Der Vaart who fluffed his shot.
Mee Posted 7 May 2011 Posted 7 May 2011 Gomes saved a penalty, resulting corner Gomes comes running out with adrenaline and takes Taylor-Fletcher down. 1-0 Blackpool.
