lcfc_jme Posted 2 October 2010 Posted 2 October 2010 The few times I've seen Spurs he's been excellent and is looking an absolute steal at £8m especially when you consider Stoke paid the same price for Kenwyne Jones. He's a quality player to be fair, would fit in beautifully with Arsenal's way of playing. Gives Spurs something different though and to be honest Villa had no idea what to do with him today judging by them highlights. He was always in acres of space and practically had every shot Spurs took, most of which were pretty close. Always beautiful to see Tim Cahill grab a goal as well. I love Tim Cahill. Hmmm you're probably right might have been a harsh red, but it's still borderline between red and yellow. It was the constant moaning in the media, including saying "Never a foul" to the camera before his crossbar challenge attempt on Soccer AM months later, that pissed me off.

It did look bad, and they said a possible broken ankle, but he was waving to the fans and didn't look in that much pain (considering Ramsey's last season, although that was a leg break). Nice open game at the moment though, hope it carries on, looking forward to the Chelsea v Arsenal game later.
