Tilley Posted 24 October 2010 Posted 24 October 2010 Fabregas man of the match?! Nasri was much better for me.
Tilley Posted 24 October 2010 Posted 24 October 2010 'I missed the penalty, how can I be man of the match?!'
Father Ted Posted 24 October 2010 Posted 24 October 2010 Nasri is turning into a very good player. Him Ramsey and Wilshere & Song in the future will be a quality centre mid (assuming Fabregas will leave at some point.) And Diaby, I really rate him!
ScouseFox Posted 24 October 2010 Posted 24 October 2010 Marriner bottled it letting Neville stay on the pitch, blatant second yellow.
lcfc_jme Posted 24 October 2010 Posted 24 October 2010 As I said the other day, Samir Nasri has been outstanding so far this season and just continues to get better. Brilliant performance from him today. Just as important as the sending off after five minutes was Fabianski's save from Silva in the first. Brilliant reflexes and if it'd gone in I think City would've strolled home. And as it happens, Bendtner's finish was quality as well and I wasn't expecting it, thought he'd miss to be honest.
Corky Posted 24 October 2010 Posted 24 October 2010 Was out this afternoon and didn't keep up with the scores, really surprised when I heard Arsenal won 3-0 at Man City, thought before that City would take the points.
Narborough_fox Posted 24 October 2010 Posted 24 October 2010 Jesus, MOTD are absoloutly bumming that Hernandez goal. Imagine what they'd of done to Gallagher's header against Scunny last season.
MikeyT Posted 24 October 2010 Posted 24 October 2010 Jesus, MOTD are absoloutly bumming that Hernandez goal. Imagine what they'd of done to Gallagher's header against Scunny last season. Probably nothing...it's Leicester remember.
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 24 October 2010 Posted 24 October 2010 And Diaby, I really rate him! Good shout mate, how could I forget him?! Looks a good line up for the future
Narborough_fox Posted 24 October 2010 Posted 24 October 2010 Probably nothing...it's Leicester remember. I mean if it was by a Man Utd player or someone else of that calibre.
FoxyPV Posted 24 October 2010 Posted 24 October 2010 What was Komoany giving off about? That was a stonewall penalty. Arshavin and Nasri have been class.
Alexikokopops Posted 24 October 2010 Posted 24 October 2010 Arsenal have not lost a PL match after having an opponent sent off in the first half since September 1998 vs Sheffield Wednesday
Leicester_Loyal Posted 24 October 2010 Posted 24 October 2010 Arsenal have not lost a PL match after having an opponent sent off in the first half since September 1998 vs Sheffield Wednesday Fact of the day.
lildave3 Posted 24 October 2010 Posted 24 October 2010 Arsenal have not lost a PL match after having an opponent sent off in the first half since September 1998 vs Sheffield Wednesday Di Canio?
StanSP Posted 24 October 2010 Posted 24 October 2010 Di Canio? Was that when he pushed the ref over and he fell in the most comedic of ways?
Dickie Greenleaf Posted 25 October 2010 Posted 25 October 2010 I actually thought Clattenburg reffed the game well and got pretty much all the big decisions correct. Nasri was world class from start to finish. Was brilliant to see him keep that ball in for the 3rd goal.
lildave3 Posted 25 October 2010 Posted 25 October 2010 Was that when he pushed the ref over and he fell in the most comedic of ways? I was only guessing Di Canio. But yeah, that was against Arsenal and around that time. Was hoping Kokopops would check for me and make me seem good
Alexikokopops Posted 25 October 2010 Posted 25 October 2010 I was only guessing Di Canio. But yeah, that was against Arsenal and around that time. Was hoping Kokopops would check for me and make me seem good You are correct sir. Di Canio was sent off in the 44th minute. The game finished 1-0 to Wednesday. If you can name the scorer (in the 89th minute) then I'll be even more impressed. It was his only goal for the club.
Asha Posted 25 October 2010 Posted 25 October 2010 You are correct sir. Di Canio was sent off in the 44th minute. The game finished 1-0 to Wednesday. If you can name the scorer (in the 89th minute) then I'll be even more impressed. It was his only goal for the club. Lee Briscoe wasn't it? Although I swear he scored more than just one for the Owls.
Dickie Greenleaf Posted 25 October 2010 Posted 25 October 2010 Correct. And it was indeed his only goal for the club.
Jimothy Posted 25 October 2010 Posted 25 October 2010 Was Keown sent off at the same time as Di Canio in that match?
lcfc_jme Posted 25 October 2010 Posted 25 October 2010 Lee Briscoe wasn't it? Although I swear he scored more than just one for the Owls. Well Googled.
Asha Posted 25 October 2010 Posted 25 October 2010 Well Googled. Good one. Although I actually knew the answer. Or is that completely unfathomable? Not surprised one of the clique are using the "anyone else who answers right must be cheating" line again. Always a common feature of the football trivia threads.
