Edmund Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Really? I'd struggle to name ten right now off the top of my head instantly... Jagielka and Lescott are the two that spring out from first thought. And Adam Johnson of course. There's not a great deal but for every Trevor Benjamin and Jason Scotland there's a Cameron Jerome and Dean Ashton. sdb seems to be forgetting this. you suggest he's prem quality because he's played and scored a goal in the prem i gave examples of where this feat can be misleading, to say the least. go and find where I slagged DJ off, use all my bitter words aimed at him, and put them up here. otherwise shut up telling me it's 'sour grapes'. it's seriously sad that you're spending a saturday night telling me how I feel about DJ Campbell! get a life son! Do you even read what I write? I'm not repeating myself because you're throwing a pmt over my posts. Like I said your examples are illogical and irrelevant. it's seriously sad that you're spending a saturday night telling me how I feel about DJ Campbell! get a life son! Yet you're doing exactly the same thing You're not very clever are you. If I was you I'd go and get yourself something sweet to get rid of that sourness.

Jagielka and Lescott are the two that spring out from first thought. And Adam Johnson of course. Tim Cahill didn't turn out too bad either. But as a rule there are a hell of a lot more who don't make than those who do. Whatever, still be amazed if Dudley Junior sets the Prem alight. Hope to God this is the last DJ fucking Campbell thread to 'grace' these boards, he never wanted to be here (post Allen) it's sad that he should get so much coverage on here.

Obviously there are some who should immediately spring to mind, such as Cahill. One of the best buys the Premier League has ever seen in terms of value for money. Interestingly him and the two I mentioned were all groomed by Everton... good work on Merseyside.
Unabomber Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Who gives a shit if he scored, I mean it is his job. I am just thankful that we managed to get a fee for the gold toothed midget.
Guest ttfn Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Campbell's a shit centre forward, end of.
Bugg Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Campbell's a shit centre forward, end of. I agree. But sshhh, people will say that we're just bitter about him going. Edit - To be fair, it was a good finish on MOTD.

It really was wasn't it? Shame it bounced off his legs about 4 times before he got it under control. He'd never have got that time against any other prem side.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Isn't there a clause in his contract that 'Leicester City can re-sign DJ Campbell for free, if they fail to win against, A welsh side and a London side?"
lcfc_jme Posted 11 September 2010 Posted 11 September 2010 Good finish in all fairness but he'd have been gobbled up by any self-respecting center-back because of his hideous control in the first instance. Can't see him scoring stacks of goals, but he'll be a better player for Blackpool than he would have been for us this season had he stayed.
Matt Posted 12 September 2010 Posted 12 September 2010 I DON'T FUCKING CARE. Don't open the thread then? It's hardly rocket science to work out what the thread will be about is it?
FoxyPV Posted 12 September 2010 Posted 12 September 2010 I think on the basis of that goal we should never have let him go as he's clearly a PL footballer and would greatly enhace our team. It's PS's fault. We should sack him and bring MON back with Big Em too and relive the glory days.

Alexikokopops Posted 13 September 2010 Posted 13 September 2010 Is there any way he can fail and succeed at the same time, so everyone shut's up and I don't have to listen to smug cunts from either side of the argument? It really is tiresome. I'm so fucking bored of it. I've been bored of DJ Campbell for about two years. I just don't care. Please, shut up all of you. THANKS

THANKS Get this thread moved into General Chat then you can moderate the shit out of it. I'm agreed with you though, I don't fucking care either. And I can't for the life of me understand why anyone else would.
Zingari Posted 13 September 2010 Posted 13 September 2010 i have this incredible ability not to read shite that i'm not interested in i feel pity for those with the uncontrolable impulse to keep reading and remarking on stuff that bores/angers / irritates them perhaps science will find a cure in the meantime dum vita est spes est and may your god bless you

Perhaps it was foolish to open it in the first place. The only reason I popped back in is because I got a notification saying someone had quoted my post. Just because something irritates us, are we not allowed to have an opinion on it?

Maybe if people realise it is a futile, pointless and overdone exercise then they might put their efforts into posting in more worthwhile threads. That's one reason anyway. Another more simpler reason is that sometimes it's just quite satisfying to moan. Moaning is definitely more fun than pitying.
