Wymsey Posted 12 September 2010 Posted 12 September 2010 I am starting to think we will go on a goal drought which means the games forthcoming will be painful to watch considering the defence isn't that tight yet
foxaholic Posted 13 September 2010 Posted 13 September 2010 Ian Holloway, D.J., and Blackpool deserve all the credit in the world. Just shows how a tenth rate manager like Pearson destroyed this club. He saw D.J. wanting away, along with our pathetic shit head fans. So, let us eat humble pie. If we had stayed loyal, then that could be us up there now. Let Fryatt out on loan, so that he realizes he has no automatic right to a place in the team. Very lazy nowadays, and crap at Coventry.. Lets face it most managers would have got us out of the 3rd disision and Holloway with support like has at Blackpool could have us in the Premier. Most managers regarded as rubbish by our fans have done well elsewhere . What credit did Micky Adams get for only losing 4 or 5 games in this division and getting highest gates in 50 years ,
hackneyfox Posted 14 September 2010 Posted 14 September 2010 Micky Adams is where now? Mark McGhee Brian Little Worthington The list is pretty long and how many have been successful?
stripeyfox Posted 14 September 2010 Posted 14 September 2010 Still world class to you or have you now seen his true colours Didn't see the game, so please correct me if I missed something. The title of your thread makes it sound like he crouched down at the corner flag and curled a turd out on his LCFC shirt. Please clarify that something like this did not happen?
hackneyfox Posted 14 September 2010 Posted 14 September 2010 Well nothing else that he passed all afternoon got close to a Leicester shirt.
stripeyfox Posted 14 September 2010 Posted 14 September 2010 Well nothing else that he passed all afternoon got close to a Leicester shirt. That sir, is very funny!
davieG Posted 14 September 2010 Posted 14 September 2010 From the Merc Paulo Sousa has warned Derby County boss Nigel Clough he would have to be prepared to spend a lot of money if he wants to sign Leicester City striker Matty Fryatt. Clough had made an enquiry about Fryatt during the transfer window, but was told the striker was not for sale. The Rams boss confessed last week that he would be interested in making a move if Fryatt became available. But Sousa said he wants to keep Fryatt, who returned to the starting line-up last Saturday in the 1-1 draw at Coventry City. "I feel happy because we have a good player in Matty, that other managers want," said Sousa. "Of course, if he (Clough) wants him, then he will have to pay a lot of money to have him. "So far I am very happy to have Matty with us. He is a player who is looking to score goals. "He knows how to do it and came very close last Saturday. He came very close and, hopefully, he will score against Cardiff tonight in an important game to give us a win." However, Clough, who took former City strikers Paul Dickov and DJ Campbell on loan last season, is unlikely to be undeterred in his pursuit. He is looking to sign a striker on loan as a priority, and admitted Fryatt was under consideration. "Yes, he is a player we rate highly, in the James Vaughan, Chris Wood mould," said Clough. "Ben Davies is another one – they are all players we are looking at and monitoring. "We have not made an approach for Matty Fryatt. He is in Leicester's squad at the moment. "There might have been a phone call in terms of asking if anything happens to keep us informed, but we don't class that as an offer on the table. "If he does become available, then we would like to be in there." However, Sousa said it was unlikely that any of his first-team squad would be going out on loan in the next few weeks, and said it was more likely that he would bring a player in. "There won't be anyone going out, not yet," said Sousa. "But coming in, we will see if we can settle one player."
ozleicester Posted 14 September 2010 Posted 14 September 2010 my mate told me he drowns kittens You need some new mates
stripeyfox Posted 14 September 2010 Posted 14 September 2010 Excellent. I have a couple of kittens to get rid of. How much does he charge?
Ric Flair Posted 14 September 2010 Posted 14 September 2010 Fryatt was awful yesterday. Yes he's a confidence player, with confidence he could get 20 goals a season but they won't be one ones with the goalie, he scews those up. How many chances does he make for other players? I won't be sad if he goes. Hackney, you're barking up the wrong tree, lad. He's our main man when it comes to assists.
Asha Posted 14 September 2010 Posted 14 September 2010 On a side note, whether someone agrees or not with the OP, I don't get why he's being called a 'cunt' etc. It's just his viewpoint. If we all agreed with everything, what kind of shit ass forum would this be? I have a lot of time for Fryatt but he's obviously not doing what he did a year ago and there must be reasons for that. Also, I think a lot of fans do over-worship him a touch - for example repeatedly chanting his name at Burnley when he wasn't even in the squad bemused me a little. Oh, and "biggest cunt on the forum"? Hardly.
Asha Posted 14 September 2010 Posted 14 September 2010 And for the money he's on to effectively kick a ball, I can't understand why Fryatt, or indeed any player, would decide to just go all moody if he's not "getting the rub of the green".

ozleicester Posted 14 September 2010 Posted 14 September 2010 How do we know he's 'gone all moody' ?? I saw him in Morrisons buying chocolate and a hot water bottle.
Salieri Posted 14 September 2010 Posted 14 September 2010 From the Merc "He knows how to do it and came very close last Saturday. He came very close and, hopefully, he will score against Cardiff tonight in an important game to give us a win." Hoping he's gonna come off the bench to score then i guess?

bettso Posted 15 September 2010 Posted 15 September 2010 Most natural finisher at the club and possibly the most skillful. Obviously needs to adapt his game as have all the players but he's certainly capable and when he gets a run in the team he will do so. Cant understand the critisism.
