ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 I have noticed that Waghorn has not been playing like he did last season. He has not seen much of the ball. Come on Waggy, where are you?
Guest Mee-9 Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 I have noticed that Waghorn has not been playing like he did last season. He has not seen much of the ball. Come on Waggy, where are you? Being played out of position for most of the games.
Kilworthfox Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 I have noticed that Waghorn has not been playing like he did last season. He has not seen much of the ball. Come on Waggy, where are you? Right wing, c'mon mate keep up
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 24 September 2010 Author Posted 24 September 2010 he aint a winger though! sousa needs to go before he does too much damage!
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 He is on the wing. Thats right, we have signed someone for 2-3 million and pissed it all away by playing him on the wing. Great tactical sense that. He needs to be up front with someone alongside him, then we might see something of him.
Corky Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 Out of position. Striker on the right wing. Holloway's "square pegs in round holes" springs to mind.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 Out of position. Striker on the right wing. Holloway's "square pegs in round holes" springs to mind. This. Hume on the wing in that season, and what good did it do us! Going the same way this season I think.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 Having said that, even last season he was taking our corners. Not quite the out and out striker many seem to believe him to be. He's a decent crosser of the ball. Maybe it's more that we have poor wingers and need to play him out there.
Matt Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 I have noticed that Waghorn has not been playing like he did last season. He has not seen much of the ball. Come on Waggy, where are you? On the wing.
Legend_in_blue Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 I have noticed that Waghorn has not been playing like he did last season. He has not seen much of the ball. Come on Waggy, where are you? M25? M1? M40? What's the quickest way back from the south coast?

Lord Fox Posted 24 September 2010 Posted 24 September 2010 Sorry M27 - M3- A34-M40-A43 -M1 2 Hs 4 mins in the car ( my wife Aunt lives Nr Pompy - the poor woman, So I've done this loads of time)
poopbutt Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 he looked his least effective last season when played in this same position so it beggars belief you'd pay 3 mill for him and then play him there.
Wymsey Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 i recognise he touches his left knee every now and then through parts of the game. It might be that his knee problem (whilst playing for sunderland) is still reoccuring?
SeattleShane Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 Its amazing, did sousa do any research on last season? beggars belief, got to go, Im sorry said it in another post but the manager seems to have less ideas about who to play than the fans do. Dodegy Thai take over and a chairman who doesnt want to be here, its a disgrace.
Fox92 Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 Yes he is out of position, but you expect to much of him from last season. We have now brought him and he hasn't got that much to prove. Probably should have been took off instead of Dyer yesterday.
FrankieADZ Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 I have noticed that Waghorn has not been playing like he did last season. He has not seen much of the ball. Come on Waggy, where are you? Havent u noticed a figure on the wing being wasted and played out of postion....you should look there...its not thats he's not giving effort, just that we have a manager who likes to play players out of postions they do realy well in. <_<
Huuuuuume Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 He didn't touch the ball until the 15th/16th minute. Is that an indicator that he is out of position or what?!?!?!
Leicester_Mad Posted 25 September 2010 Posted 25 September 2010 He didn't touch the ball until the 15th/16th minute. Is that an indicator that he is out of position or what?!?!?! no? If Howard played in goal he could still touch the ball in the first minute...does that mean he is in the right position?
