paddy Agyemang Posted 23 October 2010 Posted 23 October 2010 Weale Neilson Morrison Hobbs Berner Moussa Wellens King Gallagher (need dyer for saturday) Howard Crnic Subs: Logan, Dyer, Oakley, Fryatt, Abe, Moreno
Shrenchel Posted 23 October 2010 Posted 23 October 2010 Seeing some of these line-ups can't help feeling we could get properly turned over if we don't come out fighting.
ACF Posted 24 October 2010 Posted 24 October 2010 Weale Neilson Morrison/Vitor Hobbs BrunoMoussa Abe King Wellens DyerFryatt so when we attack, it's more of a Abe Wellens Moussa King DyerFryatt Also, if we are behind at the end, take of a midfielder and bring on Howard or Crncic, if he exists.. If not, give some youngsters ago.
the_foxes_till_i_die Posted 24 October 2010 Posted 24 October 2010 Just watched motd...west brom looked good. And i dont think they will be coming here with a 2nd string team. they are gunna want to go as far as poss in this cup. We really just have to get at em early on.
sdb Posted 24 October 2010 Posted 24 October 2010 would like to see Abe start in his proper position, Morrison start, Fryatt get more game time and perhaps Moreno play a bit too.
Thracian Posted 24 October 2010 Posted 24 October 2010 would like to see Abe start in his proper position, Morrison start, Fryatt get more game time and perhaps Moreno play a bit too. I agree about Abe. Let him do the whole game in the central midfield holiding role - just like we let Kaebi start a game at Hull. And then, I'd like to think the issue would be settled for a while until he gets properly acclimatised. It wasn't in Kaebi's case, of course. People went on and on inventing reasons for picking him. As i've said. If Abe had been elevated from the Academy he'd have been dismissed as a midfield lightweight and told to improve some more in the reserves. But he's not. And i don't suppose he's on Academy wages, either. It is a lot different playing warm weather football in Japan to playing autumn/winter football in the cut and thrust of the English Championship. But he can prove me wrong by all means. We sure need a break.
The Doctor Posted 24 October 2010 Posted 24 October 2010 Weale Neilson Morrison/Vitor Hobbs BrunoMoussa Abe King Wellens DyerFryatt so when we attack, it's more of a Abe Wellens Moussa King DyerFryatt Also, if we are behind at the end, take of a midfielder and bring on Howard or Crncic, if he exists.. If not, give some youngsters ago. attacking that might work but the ball just won't stick up top if we have fryatt as the lone striker.
timh10101 Posted 24 October 2010 Posted 24 October 2010 Weale Neilson Morrison Hobbs Bruno Beckham Moussa Abe Moreno Dyer Fryatt Dreamy.
Iwan is a Welshman Posted 24 October 2010 Posted 24 October 2010 Seeing some of these line-ups can't help feeling we could get properly turned over if we don't come out fighting. Too right. Aren't the Baggies up to 4th now? and they turned us over twice comfortably last year. Gotta hope they don't take it too seriously. I'd go: Weale Neillson (Lamey's crap. Can't articulate it any more than picking Neillson ahead of him) Hobbs Morrison (Aside from being cup-tied, I'm a bit more worried that Davies might be out injured.) Berner (since Sven seems to have made his mind up on Kennedy. I hadn't had time to form an opinion on him) Gallagher (if fit, if not - N'Guessan) Abe (agree with those who think it might be wise resting Wellens, and Abe needs a chance in centre mid imo) King Dyer Fryatt Howard Oakley rested. Moussa benched. 4-4-2. Matty Fryatt's never been able to play up front on his own. I don't blame Sven for not knowing that, but hopefully he does now. He hasn't got the presence of Howard or Waghorn to be able to do it.
maddog Posted 24 October 2010 Posted 24 October 2010 I wouldn't tinker with the team too much as we need to keep the consistency going with the selection but possibly 3 or 4 changes should be made. The likes of Neilson and Vitor could be given a run out. Leon Crncic where is he maybe give him a game. Is N'Guessan still injured? Then theres Vassell if he's match fit give him a run or 30 mins off the bench possibly.
Narborough_fox Posted 25 October 2010 Posted 25 October 2010 Looks like Victor could be playing. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/league_cup/9059400.stm

Wymsey Posted 25 October 2010 Posted 25 October 2010 Graham Dorrans and Chris Cvnt are the ones to watch out for
StanSP Posted 25 October 2010 Posted 25 October 2010 Jacqui Oatley is doing the commentary for this match tomorrow night. Stringer just tweeted her saying that Gallagher and Vitor are fit and Vitor will probably start. Oakley and N'Guessan are out. As you know Waggy, Naughton, Cunningham and Davies cup tied. In a separate tweet, he added that Tunchev is STILL not training and Vassell might be fit to start on Saturday.

Simmo86 Posted 25 October 2010 Posted 25 October 2010 Are you serious? 4-5-1 is shit for us! its gotta be 4-4-2 Its more 4-3-3 than 4-5-1 and it served us just fine in the second half of last season! West Brom will tear us a new arsehole in the middle of the park if we don't outnumber them!
Aixelsyd Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 Miller & Mattock likely to be in for West Brom http://www.wba.co.uk/page/News/0,,10366~2196722,00.html
FoxyPV Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 Weale Neilsen Hobbs Vitor Berner Moussa Moreno Abe King Wellens Dyer 4-6-0
marbelladave Posted 26 October 2010 Posted 26 October 2010 I'd start Abe in centre-midfield. May as well. I do not think we are going to get anything out of the game so i would start, Abe, Vitor and at least one of the youngsters up front. Moreno on the bench in case Abe is not up to it.
