I've only just seen this thread, do you record any of your shows and distribute them as podcasts?

Also a bit of early Zeppelin and Deep Purple always goes down well, later end of the 60s though.

Bah, I'm on much earlier cos the guy I'd swapped with didn't show - so currently live and - due to technical issues on Stream 2 only.

Aye - I got royally screwed over tonight - I had swapped with the DJ who is usually on after me because I have been out all day and only got home for 6.15, but there was no sign of him, not even for his usual slot (he's only just got back into his flat after a pipe burst in there), so we're a little concerned as to what has happened to him, he's not the type to just be a no show without warning.

Thanks anyhow. My next show will be just after we march into the FA Cup ssemi-finals, so I'm going to line up something special! :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

Oh, yes and it'll be Mother's Day too.

Lots of summery and sunny music tonight from all eras - should be something for everyone (except possibly goths and emos).

Thanks for the recommendations.

I was thinking of doing a "totally new music" show or at least music that I've never played (and probably no one else at the station.)

Tonight is New Music night!

Not necessarily brand new, but new to my show at least and almost certainly new to Rogues Radio.

A little taste of what bands I'm playing tonight:

Pulled Apart By Horses

Blood Red Shoes

Black Box Recorder

Yellow Magc Orchestra

The Cult

Whirr

Graham Coxon

Django Django

Brendan Benson

What to find something new and different? You could go a lot further and find a lot less - so listen in to me tonight, playing as DJ EJ on http://www.roguesradio.com from 6pm to 8pm this evening.

This will be happening at the usual time and place (though I might be on auto-pilot as I watch the end of the GP).

Music old and new tonight - if you want something played please ask.

On a side note - thinking of maybe asking Nick Platnauer if he'd do a short interview about his time at LCFC. Would anyone be interested if I did? I might just able to work it.
