Zingari Posted 3 July 2011 Posted 3 July 2011 I'm getting some good requests, I'll write them down for future shows Hope you do a 60's special again soon . Really enjoyed it tonight Trav , carry on like this and you could knock that smug Tony Blackburn off his lofty perch
Trav Le Bleu Posted 3 July 2011 Author Posted 3 July 2011 After my "driving tune" (which has some 60s) might do a 70s - but probably not in 2 weeks, when I won't be on. Thanks all for listening - glad you enjoyed it!

Zingari Posted 10 July 2011 Posted 10 July 2011 I played the Yardbirds earlier sorry missed that . just got in from driving my morris minor at breakneck speeds along the big slab
Trav Le Bleu Posted 10 July 2011 Author Posted 10 July 2011 Was it you who got the 70mph speed limit imposed on us? <_<
Zingari Posted 10 July 2011 Posted 10 July 2011 i know that speech comes from network with peter finch , as howard beale cracking film edit ; i do quite like this because of the content ps i had nothing to do with the 70 limit , 50mph is breakneck speed to me
Zingari Posted 10 July 2011 Posted 10 July 2011 blimey Trav , a cassette player in your car you can get a cd fitted at halfords for about 30 quid don't tell me you posties can't afford it edit; i'd sooner have the freddie mercury and that woman who looks like hattie jaques version of barcelona
Trav Le Bleu Posted 10 July 2011 Author Posted 10 July 2011 blimey Trav , a cassette player in your car you can get a cd fitted at halfords for about 30 quid don't tell me you posties can't afford it The car is so noisy and ricketty - a CD player seems overkill.
Zingari Posted 10 July 2011 Posted 10 July 2011 The car is so noisy and ricketty - a CD player seems overkill. just play songs like "shake rattle and roll" then btw , would you invest in one of those foxestalk car stickers to put in it ?
Trav Le Bleu Posted 10 July 2011 Author Posted 10 July 2011 just play songs like "shake rattle and roll" then btw , would you invest in one of those foxestalk car stickers to put in it ? We have car stickers? Hell yeah!
Zingari Posted 10 July 2011 Posted 10 July 2011 We have car stickers? Hell yeah! There's a thread about it in the Leicester city forum Tell them it's just what you want to enhance the sleek lines on your Polo
Zingari Posted 10 July 2011 Posted 10 July 2011 Trav ( or anyone else who knows ) what was the name of that song that had this " mad as hell " speech in it ? i quite liked it and i might just buy it good show again , nice to hear some stuff that i normally wouldn't .

Zingari Posted 10 July 2011 Posted 10 July 2011 It was Not For Want Of Trying by Maybeshewill. Liked how Trav even warned that you might not like it Ta I think i come across to him as a right old fart actually that's because I am edit ; just got the mp3 download from amazon , well worth 79 pence

Great to see that in it's original context, cheers Zin. It's angry music for an angry speech!
The People's Hero Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 I haven't read through the whole thread - but do you have these as podcasts? If so, where can I get them?
Mark Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 Trav ( or anyone else who knows ) what was the name of that song that had this " mad as hell " speech in it ? i quite liked it and i might just buy it good show again , nice to hear some stuff that i normally wouldn't . This has it in too, not as well done as the maybeshewill song however. Maybeshewill have quite a few good songs that feature samples, have a listen to this .
shen Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 I haven't read through the whole thread - but do you have these as podcasts? If so, where can I get them? I don't think so. They would face copyright/royalty issues. And you can tune in on www.roguesradio.com where they rotate DJs.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 11 July 2011 Author Posted 11 July 2011 I haven't read through the whole thread - but do you have these as podcasts? If so, where can I get them? All the shows get saved to my PC. I suppose I could always put a megaupload file of one on here.
