ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 25 November 2010 Posted 25 November 2010 Has just signed for Forest, makes Monday very very interesting! http://www.nottinghamforest.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10308~2230513,00.html
Guest Mee-9 Posted 25 November 2010 Posted 25 November 2010 He's done it again! Wrong section pal, General sport
Wilkesy Posted 25 November 2010 Posted 25 November 2010 Could be a very good signing. Arsenal want him to get some match fitness having only just come back from injury.

ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 25 November 2010 Author Posted 25 November 2010 would have preferred him to Kirkland IMO
J.Lisemore Posted 25 November 2010 Posted 25 November 2010 As much as I like Andy King, hes no Aaron Ramsey.
Guest NGoloMode Posted 25 November 2010 Posted 25 November 2010 Very good signing that is. Better than all of our midfielders imo.
Finnegan Posted 25 November 2010 Posted 25 November 2010 Earnshaw was bad. Gunter I could stomach. This is too far. Goodbye, Foxes Talk, goodbye world.
Asha Posted 25 November 2010 Posted 25 November 2010 would have preferred him to Kirkland IMO Two complete different players in different positions Chris Kirkland is a good signing, in its' own right. Just because someone else has bagged another decent player on loan shouldn't mean we all see the Kirkland and Bednar deals as 'being pissed on'. Also, it appears some people think it was a straight choice between the two and that we chose Kirkland Good signing for Forest. Hopefully Raddy will still play
MikeyT Posted 25 November 2010 Posted 25 November 2010 Bloody good signing for them. Monday will be a cracker of a game even more now.
Unit Posted 25 November 2010 Posted 25 November 2010 Over-rated. He's had a few impressive games but then so has everybody else. It's the whole thing of playing for arsenal, if he was at s****horpe nobody would give a shit. No worries for monday, super steve will boss him around even as a strikes.
Ashley Posted 26 November 2010 Posted 26 November 2010 I can remember Ramsey and King playing for Wales U21 and giving Huddlestone and ? The run around in the middle. Simon Church was good in them two games aswell.

So if I've read that correctly: "Pah, rubbish! People are only taking notice because he's playing well for one of the top teams in the country! If he was playing well for one of the worst teams in the Championship then people wouldn't think he was as good as if he was playing for one of the best teams in the country"
Maybes Posted 26 November 2010 Posted 26 November 2010 would have preferred him to Kirkland IMO Yeah Ramsey's good in the sticks. King>Ramsey. That'll be all.

To be honest, back when I saw him play for Cardiff a couple of times he was phenomenal. However, having said that if he manages to do a dozen wonderous through balls that end up getting spooned over by piss poor strikers like he did back then, I won't mind, but still, I wish I had your optimism...
Finnegan Posted 26 November 2010 Posted 26 November 2010 Sorry but there's some serious bitterness in this thread. I'm by no means suggesting that he's Maradona and, given that he's just freshly back from a leg-break, I wouldn't put him instantly in my side and swap him out for an in-form Kingy, either. But to suggest he's overhyped or even just Championship quality at best is just ridiculous. I'm fuming that he's gone to Florist, he'll get lumps kicked out of him at this level and fresh after a major injury that's hardly what the lad needs. But he is a massive talent with bags of potential, he's not just "had a few good games", he's looked fantastically comfortable every time he's played at both International and Premier League level. If there's one thing Arsene Wenger knows it's how to pick a youngster. Brilliant feet, brilliant vision. He'll be world class if he recovers from his injury, I guarantee you. And in five years time you'll all be fucking annoying me about why he didn't "pick England."
RedHux Posted 26 November 2010 Posted 26 November 2010 I'm fuming that he's gone to Florist, he'll get lumps kicked out of him at this level ...and that's just in training! It's all about how fit he is. If he's not far off then he'll be huge for the 8 games he can play. If, however it takes him 5 games to get up to speed then it'll be more then a little annoying. Can't see him starting on Monday, but may well get thrown on at the end.
Finnegan Posted 26 November 2010 Posted 26 November 2010 You have no idea how much I don't want him to play against us. It'll break my tiny, cold heart. I wouldn't be expecting wonders, though. You're just doing Wenger a favour getting him back to match fitness, using you as his reserves really. He'll lack sharpness and pace to begin with.
