broughtonblue Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 I noticed in the warm up against Leeds, as the team was split into various groups during the warm up Yuki seemed to be wondering between them all, and his team mates didn't seem to acknowledge or even pass to him. He then gave probably his worst performance in a city shirt. Today he wasn't in the team, could there be a problem, whether it be language or something more sinister?
Zingari Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 maybe having his own FT photoshop thread has gone to his head
Wymsey Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 Having come into my families' corporate box and not understanding the question of 'do you like it here?' from my Uncle, then there must be a problem
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 The problem is the hole team is playing shite at the mo (last 20 mins against dirty leeds aside) and needs a good kick up the backside, professionals on X thousand a week - a disgrace at the moment, any other job they would be getting written warnings by now
Finnegan Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 There's your answer. He met Wymsey and now he's desperate to fuck off home.

Finnegan Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 I did tell him his hair needed a trim Your post count needs a trim.
Wymsey Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 Your post count needs a trim. Knowing you i think you will blame me for todays result then
Guest Mee-9 Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 I did tell him his hair needed a trim You dirty git.
Edmund Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 Obviously just resting him. He does work his socks off in every game I've seen him play. You can always rely on a Japanese motor as long as you take good care of it.
Daggers Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 Having come into my families' corporate box and not understanding the question of 'do you like it here?' from my Uncle, then there must be a problem So, your uncle wanted Abe to feel comfortable in his box? It would upset me too.
broughtonblue Posted 28 December 2010 Author Posted 28 December 2010 Thinking about my post and the language problem, perhaps bridges need to built. After all we English are good at doing that for the japs!!!
ajthefox Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 Probably resting him as Edmund said. This is the busiest period of the season, and Sven also dropped Vassell so I think when you consider that Vassell hadn't played in ages before coming and that Abe was from a completely different place/type of game, it's most likely he was resting them. I don't tihnk anyone would conisder Oakley an approvement on Abe even if he did play like it was his 200th league app as opposed to his 500th.

MPH Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 missing his family at xmas? I dont think Japan celebrates christmas.. with Bhuddism, taoism and a few other isms, christianity is well down the line over there.....
Finnegan Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 I dont think Japan celebrates christmas.. with Bhuddism, taoism and a few other isms, christianity is well down the line over there..... It isn't a national holiday but they celebrate Christmas. Consider the enormous commercial sector in Japan and it's hardly surprising. My Japanese friends in London celebrated Christmas as much as anyone else I know here.
Narborough_fox Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 He didn't look interested against Leeds, but he's just been dropped by Japan so it's not like he's going to be %100 in the games for a while.
Zingari Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 I dont think Japan celebrates christmas.. with Bhuddism, taoism and a few other isms, christianity is well down the line over there..... they celebrate the preparation of the year ending , called "TOSHI NO ICHI" i was curious and looked it up
broughtonblue Posted 28 December 2010 Author Posted 28 December 2010 they celebrate the preparation of the year ending , called "TOSHI NO ICHI" i was curious and looked it up Does 'toschi' translate as balls?
Yorkshire Blue Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 He didn't look interested against Leeds, but he's just been dropped by Japan so it's not like he's going to be %100 in the games for a while. Maybe the fact Japan have dropped him is something to do with us struggling in the Second Tier of English football, and whether it's as good as the J-League or not, its second rate. This may have been playing on his mind and he won't be fully committed to the cause. Although, seeing him play, it hasn't been his commitment which has let him down. Hopefully he has just taken rest from action, giving Oakley a chance as well as creating a bit of competition in the middle.
