Stinkenzo Posted 9 January 2011 Posted 9 January 2011 has it only just occured to you that the Walkers that occasionally posts on there might just be the same Walkers that posts on here?
StanSP Posted 9 January 2011 Posted 9 January 2011 has it only just occured to you that the Walkers that occasionally posts on there might just be the same Walkers that posts on here? No I've known all along. Cos you post in the same way. And it's not really rocket science. And obviously if I've said that you're stalking me, I would have had some inkling that you've followed me around on more than one occasion.
Hack Posted 9 January 2011 Posted 9 January 2011 Well, this should put an end to all speculation! http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/e/everton/7757624.stm Might as well close the thread cos this isn't happening til summer at least. if no on else has pick it up yet, this story is from november 2008. I would say his achilles has recovered by now!!
Thracian Posted 9 January 2011 Posted 9 January 2011 if no on else has pick it up yet, this story is from november 2008. I would say his achilles has recovered by now!! Ummm. I'll stand correcting by the medics but having had such problems for years, I'm not sure ruptured achilles tendons ever recover well enough to allow you to play football at your best. Especially if the reason for the rupture is not addressed....usually the problem of heavy weight resting on a relatively vulnerable support. Yakubu is 6ft tall and big built. Football only adds to the stress bearing down on the tendon. It'll be one thing playing a game or two and quite another putting together a string of matches - sometimes twice a week - in varied conditions of heat and cold.

Jax Demon Posted 11 January 2011 Posted 11 January 2011 On Skysports ' he's very very intrested in move' Be good signing imo.
ibbosuk Posted 11 January 2011 Posted 11 January 2011 On Skysports ' he's very very intrested in move' Be good signing imo. Thats good, cos I posted this morning that Yakubu was coming to Leicester this week for 2.3 Million. Not in the best of condition by all accounts.
Christoph Posted 11 January 2011 Posted 11 January 2011 Will be a good signing for us with him and vassell possibly linking up. If we do go the route of 4-4-2 wonder where it leaves abe considering we have wellens and king as the two main people in the centre, as he wasnt that good when put on the right i believe?
Toby or not Toby Posted 11 January 2011 Posted 11 January 2011 Hope he does sign! Is there a link to him saying hes interested in the move?
RizLCFC Posted 11 January 2011 Posted 11 January 2011 They were updating there transfer stories on sky sports news and the guy said City have enquired but nothing formal, basically what we knew around a week ago. The fact that sky are mentioning it could mean City are stepping up interest.

Don't think King would work in a 2 man midfield - he goes missing for 89mins redeeming himself by popping up for a goal - damn often Don't know how we could switch to 4-4-2 with the current midfield, perhaps Yakubu will just replace Vassell for a while
cc_star Posted 11 January 2011 Posted 11 January 2011 Can't find this anywhere. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11671_6651911,00.html They just quoted their source as the back page of the Merc... perhaps activity has stepped up a little
