acooling08 Posted 9 January 2011 Posted 9 January 2011 If we could only win 1 and you could pick which one, would you rather us beat Man City today in the cup, or PNE next week in the league?
Leicester_Mad Posted 9 January 2011 Posted 9 January 2011 PNE. We cant afford to drop too many more points in the league...
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 9 January 2011 Posted 9 January 2011 Obvious we need to beat Preston as the league is most important - then we might get to play Man City / Man United etc every week, well heres hoping anyway
AmyLGK Posted 9 January 2011 Posted 9 January 2011 PNE definitely! Need the league win more than anything!
Stevosevic Posted 9 January 2011 Posted 9 January 2011 3 straight wins in the league could give us a real boost so Preston for me.
kyle09uk Posted 9 January 2011 Posted 9 January 2011 PNE definatley! I dont do 'or' though so im saying BOTH! xD
Guest BlueBrett Posted 9 January 2011 Posted 9 January 2011 Alright then would you rather win the FA Cup or get promoted?
kyle09uk Posted 9 January 2011 Posted 9 January 2011 Alright then would you rather win the FA Cup or get promoted? hmmm... Both right im gonna stop bein such a dick now! Promotion anyday... Then next season every game would be like an FA Cup Final
The Doctor Posted 9 January 2011 Posted 9 January 2011 Alright then would you rather win the FA Cup or get promoted? FA Cup - day at wembley and european tour the following year.
B52 Posted 9 January 2011 Posted 9 January 2011 If we beat Man City it will echo around the world and show ability to players Sven wants. The transfer window is still open. We will reach the playoffs independant of Preston game.
Simmo86 Posted 9 January 2011 Posted 9 January 2011 PNE - Is our bread and butter, not gonna win the cup even if we did beat City
Kitchandro Posted 9 January 2011 Posted 9 January 2011 Beating Man City would make this season memorable even if we don't go up. I'd be prepared to lose one league game. Sorry but I see the whole point of going up is so we can beat teams like Man City. Why else would we want to be in the Prem? I don't really understand. Because we aren't going to win the FA Cup, but we aren't going to win the Prmeiership title either.
Zingari Posted 9 January 2011 Posted 9 January 2011 Alright then would you rather win the FA Cup or get promoted? FA cup win for me easily , the memory of it would mean far more in a few years time
AmyLGK Posted 9 January 2011 Posted 9 January 2011 The 10 people who have voted to beat Man city are MENTAL! Seriously!! If we get promoted then we'll have another 2 chances to beat City! Promotion has to be our main concern surely! Yes it would be incredible to beat city but to chose that over promotion is CRAZY!
ThorpeAstleyFox Posted 9 January 2011 Posted 9 January 2011 Alright then would you rather win the FA Cup or get promoted? F.A. Cup hands down - this would be our greatest achievement in the History of the club as far as winning anything goes.
Asha Posted 9 January 2011 Posted 9 January 2011 The 10 people who have voted to beat Man city are MENTAL! Seriously!! If we get promoted then we'll have another 2 chances to beat City! Promotion has to be our main concern surely! Yes it would be incredible to beat city but to chose that over promotion is CRAZY! How on earth is it a choice between beating Manchester City or promotion? Are you effectively saying if we don't beat Preston the lads may as well pack up and go on their holidays? That's CRAZY. As someone said, we'll make the play-offs and hopefully go up irrespective of the Preston result.
FoxyPV Posted 9 January 2011 Posted 9 January 2011 Man City - it would be a memorable victory and make the season even if we don't get promoted/ make the playoffs. Plus there's a Man City fan in work that I could torture all year if we beat them.
ajthefox Posted 9 January 2011 Posted 9 January 2011 Man City, in the replay now of course, although realistically I don't see us putting in a performance as good as toda against City but Ido see us beating Preston.
Fosse Boy Posted 9 January 2011 Posted 9 January 2011 The ribbons on the Cup are blue and white, blue and white, blue and white...
bluefox9er Posted 9 January 2011 Posted 9 January 2011 Alright then would you rather win the FA Cup or get promoted? no one gives a toss about the FA Cup anymore...how sad.
KFS Posted 9 January 2011 Posted 9 January 2011 I'll get shot down for saying this, but I really wouldn't mind staying in this league. The Premiership is so corporate It's unbelievable. I think I would miss going to run down grounds. Obviously I'm a bit biased as if we were to go up, It'd be my first real experience of a Leicester Prem campaign.
nothin2seehere Posted 9 January 2011 Posted 9 January 2011 Ah, but there'd be nothing to aim for if we stayed in the Champ. Some may argue it's more "real" football, and even more so in L1&2, but most people (including me) would like to visit the Walkers and see some of the overpaid stars play.
wolfgang amadeus Posted 10 January 2011 Posted 10 January 2011 Id rather win the FA Cup than get promoted every day of the week.
